nathan's pov

friday 2:55pm

it has been a week since the incident, and her dad threatening me happened. needless to say i was scared, i didn't want him to tell my parents anything bad about me which i'm sure he'd do. i felt so bad for ignoring her and not talking to her, but it was for the best i didn't want her not me to get hurt anymore. the hardest part is, i like her so much it kills me to see her in pain.

"hey man, you going to the party tonight, i heard it was going to be hella crazy," tom spoke averting his gaze to me.

"oh um yeah sure.." i trailed off, i wonder if she's going to be there. ill just text maddi and ask her since she knows most of what's going on, she is my cousin after all.

"man it's going to be hella fun, you could probably find another girl there," harry remarked nudging my shoulder.

"i don't want another girl, i want her!" i snapped, he's been at this all week, does he not get that she's all i want, she's all i need...

"ok. man calm down it's just a girl, she's probably moved on anyway," harry said, he was really making me mad with this shit.

"she's more than just a girl, and i don't think she did," i muttered walking toward the exit.

"yeah sure." harry rolled his eyes.

"plus i'm probably going to take maddi to the dance, i really need to talk to her," i stated, i felt someone push past me i looked it see who it was, and saw jaedin god i hated him. he's always been such an ass.

"does anyone even know she's your cousin?" tom questioned.

"no she didn't really want people to know, i'm not the coolest person ya know?" i replied, the feeling of fresh air hitting my face.

"get in the back nathan," harry nudged me, i scoffed and got in the back of the car. i was bored so i decided to post something on instagram, and captioned it 'looking pretty swag today😎' as we were driving away i caught a glimpse of her, she was always so beautiful, her y/h/c caught the sun so beautifully, and how her y/e/c was so easy to get lost in. i really missed her, i needed a plan to get her back without her dad knowing. so i texted the only person really close to her.

me: hey i need your help.

maddi🙄: with what asshole?

me: getting y/n's dad out of the way, i really need your help please.

maddi🙄: fine whatever i'll be over at your house in 5.

me: thank you so much i owe you one.

maddi🙄: fuck yeah you do, you know how bad this plan could turn out?

me: yes but i'm willing to do anything for her.

maddi🙄: you love her don't you?

me: i really know what love is, i'm only in high school bitch.

maddi🙄: yeah you're right, ok i got to go ill see you at your house bye.

me: okay bye.

thank god she finally agreed to this, i was willing to do anything except for talk to her, i didn't want her dad seeing the messages. we finally pulled up to my house, i hurried out of the car and into my house. where maddi was already waiting in my room.

"jesus you're slow," she joked, throwing a ball at me, which i caught with ease.

"yeah, yeah. let's discuss the plan." i sat down on the bed.

"okay, so i was thinking since she's going to be at the party tonight. you can talk to her and tell her everything her dad said, and say you're sorry, then it should all be good." she explained, sitting down on the bed with me.

"thank you so much maddi, that might just work. i really do owe you," i smiled and hugged her.

"ew okay, i'm leaving now. good luck." i watched as she left the room, i got up to see if y/n was home yet but i seen her curtain closed. i frowned a bit maybe she was changing, or her dad shut it. i don't know but hopefully tonight goes well, i really just want her back in my life even if that means that he tells my parents everything. the lie he made up, could get me sent to military school.. and i was not about to let that happen. 

after a while i decided to go outside and skate, i loved skating and doing stuff outside of the house. it made me feel free, just like how she did. once i felt like i was done and needed a rest, i went and sat out in the porch, i saw a car that i have never been before parked in her driveway. it's probably her sister or one of her family members, a minute later i saw her and jaedin out side on her porch. no please, this can't be happening.

i was him tuck her hair behind her ear then kiss her on the cheek, her blush said it all. i didn't even notice how hard i was gripping the chair, until i heard a slight cracking sound. i looked up once more and met her eyes, all my worst fears where confirmed she was going out with him. that moment i realized that harry was right, she did move on. but i still had once more chance to make things right, and i was going to do everything it takes to get her not to hate me as much again.
