Disclaimer: I do not own Fire Emblem: Three Houses or its characters, I only own Blythe, Celine, and the changes in the plot that I make in the war phase.

Enjoy!

Last Time:

Celine glanced down to her neck, grabbing her necklace in her hand. "Oh, this? I've had it for as long as I can remember. It was even there when Blythe and her family found me, so I think it was from my past."

Sylvain looked calm on the outside, but he was anything but calm on the inside. He recognized that necklace, even if he hadn't seen it for a few years. Even if Celine didn't know where the necklace came from, he did.

He was the one who gave her the necklace.

As a result of the necklace, Sylvain now knew the true identity of the person standing in front of him.

The most precious person in his life... the person he still had feelings for... was back.

8th of the Garland Moon, Garreg Mach Monastery, Cathedral (Late Morning), Imperial Year 1180

The 8th of the Garland Moon was a free day for most students and faculty, but Byleth did not have any free time on his hands. Between grading assignments, planning his future lessons, and helping around the monastery, the teal-haired professor was very busy.

Right now, Byleth was walking around the monastery, looking for information about a suspicious place Dimitri mentioned to him. From what the house leader gathered, the place was known as Abyss. Neither Byleth or Dimitri knew much about it, so the teal-haired professor was looking for more information.

Walking around the monastery, he asked for leads regarding Abyss, only to receive none. He continued going around until he came across his sister by the lake, surrounded by animals. Based on the the breeds of the cats and dogs, Blythe was feeding a Blaiddyd Rex, a Fraldarius Wirehair, and a Riegan Tabby.

Byleth chuckled while shaking his head. His sister always liked animals. "Blythe..."

The animals perked up at Byleth's arrival and scurried away from the teal-haired professor. Blythe stood up and wiped the dust and dirt from her uniform. "What is it, By?"

"Have you heard of a place called Abyss? Dimitri and I are trying to gather intel to see if the place needs investigation." Byleth asked his sister.

Blythe scrunched up her face in thought. After a few seconds, she straightened her face back to normal, but she had the look of someone who just had an epiphany. "Oh! What about the merchants in the marketplace? They're very knowledgeable about that sort of thing, especially Anna!"

"Anna?" Byleth questioned, the name unfamiliar to him. Blythe nodded. "Yeah. She's a merchant with dark pink hair and eyes to match. You'll know her when you see her."

Byleth nodded in reply. He was about to thank his sister when both Eisner siblings heard a yell from the greenhouse.

"YOU'RE EVIL, FELIX!!!!"

"Was that Annette?" Blythe asked. Byleth glanced at the greenhouse while lightly nodding. The doors to the greenhouse burst open, with Annette running out of the building with a red face.

"What that was about... I don't know." Blythe trailed off before turning to her brother. "But what I do know is that Merce wanted to see you."

Byleth responded that he would go to Mercedes after he found out information about Abyss. The teal-haired professor went in the direction of the marketplace, while Blythe went over to the greenhouse.
