"I can't get over how amazing this car is!" I exclaimed as I parked it.

"Now you get me right?" Shawn asked, smiling. I nodded as we both got out of the car.

My dad gifted me a new black jeep after winning the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships this year. The US team placed first but all around, I placed third. On individual events, I placed first on uneven bars and beam and third on floor.

After worlds, I was given a three month long break, similar to last year, so I was making the most of it.

Since today was a particularly hot day in Los Angeles, even though it was mid-November, Shawn and I decided to go on a date on my family's yacht.

"Wait, baby, can you grab this stuff?" I handed him mine and his bag.

"Yeah" Shawn grabbed it.

"I can't believe it's snowing in Toronto right now" I shook my head.

"Aaliyah's having trouble going to school because of all the snow back home and it's 90 degrees here today" Shawn laughed.

"Typical LA day" I nodded.

"So, who's driving this thing?" Shawn asked.

"We have a captain. She'll stay in her little area though, so don't worry... And she won't say anything to anyone" I replied. Shawn and I walked down the private dock and found the yacht with my last name on it.

"Why did we never use this before?" Shawn gaped as we boarded the yacht.

I shrugged, "I honestly forgot this existed. My dad gets super seasick so he has this just for the sake of having it, I guess"

"Have I ever told you how jealous I am of you?" Shawn asked.

I laughed, closing the entrance behind me, "Well, you can use it whenever you want. Just ask"

We walked into the master bedroom (yes, there were bedrooms on the yacht) and dropped off all our belongings.

"You can change if you want. I'm gonna let her know where I wanna go" I walked out of the room to the bridge, where the captain, Sadie, was on her phone.

"Hey Didi" I smiled.

"Hey! Are you ready to go?" Sadie asked.
