I bit my lip as my eyes followed Shawn around the room while he did... whatever he was doing.
"Something on your mind?" Shawn asked, turning around.
I shrugged, "Not much"
"Are you having fun so far?" Shawn walked over to me. I nodded as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest.
"I love it here. It's like we're in the perfect world. I never want to leave this bubble" I buried my face in his chest.
"Okay" Shawn raised an eyebrow, pulling away from the hug, "Something is definitely on your mind"
I licked my lips, "I just... can't stop thinking about last night"
"I- Did I push you too far? I'm sorry, Nova-" Shawn said worriedly.
"No, no you didn't push me. I trust you more than anyone else in the world. I just- Okay, this conversation has been one I've been wanting to have for a long time"
"Okay..." Shawn nodded slowly.
I took a deep breath, "I- I want to set some boundaries.. Ju- Just for now"
"Nova.. Don't ever be scared to talk about things like this with me" Shawn said softly, "I'm so proud of you and I'm always going to be here for you"
I smiled, "Thank you"
"Okay, go. Boundaries" Shawn nodded.
I bit my lip, "I just... last night, what we did, was... It was great. But, I don't think I could go much further than that."
"Did I make you uncomfortable last night?" Shawn asked.
"No, it's just that well..." I sighed, "I know you don't know the specifics but anything having to do remotely with sex made me uncomfortable"
"And now?" Shawn asked quietly.
"Now... I love you but I don't trust myself, no matter how much I trust you and..." I raised an eyebrow, "Your hands"
Shawn laughed and cupped my face with his hands, "That's perfectly fine with me, Nov. We'll go at your pace. I never want you to feel pressured into doing anything with me, okay?"
