It's been a week since Kageyama got out of the hospital. He was allowed to just relax while Tsukishima went to school and practice.

Tsukishima has been waiting for Kageyama to come back to practice as Kageyama decided it would be best to tell the team about everything so they drop the rude behaviour and lies.

Tsukishima has had to hold back all week as he knew Kageyama would want to tell them himself. Listening to his teammates talk about Kageyama in such a rude manner disgusted Tsukishima, but he knew it wasn't his place to say anything.

It was now Friday and Kageyama was going to school but only for morning practice to tell everyone about what's been happening.

They were walking to the school, Kageyama ahead of Tsukishima, and tsukishima couldn't help but admire Kageyamas beautiful physic. His musical back and wonderful body proportions. Tsukishima blushed at the thought of touching Kageyama's back. He shook his head in attempt to stop thinking about it. After all he's straight! Right?

They arrived at the gym and both took a deep breath before opening the doors and walking in.

"Nice of you to finally show up King." Sugawara said rudely.

Kageyama flinched at being called that, but he knew that it was coming. He walked behind Tsukishima and they sat down together next to coach and Takeda-sensei. Everyone was shocked that they were together and bickering except Suga and Hinata who just seemed to be pissed that Kageyama was back.

"Hey guys, c-could you sit here in a circle with us. Stuffs being going on lately and I decided it was time to share with you all rather than bottling it in." Kageyama said looking at the ground shyly.

Everyone was taken aback by his quiet and unsure tone. Everyone sat down but Hinata made a scoffing noise expressing his dissatisfaction with the situation going on.

"W-well, I- .... it started.... my family....." Kageyama couldn't get the right words out and panicked. Hinata started giggling and well as Suga while everyone else looked genuinely concerned.

"Would it help if I told them a summarised version of what's been going on?" Tsukishima offered smiling warmly at Kageyama.

Everyone's jaws dropped, even the coaches.

Tsukishima just genuinely smiled at Kageyama AND offered to help him. Kageyama himself was a bit taken aback.

"Y-yea..." Kageyama responded looking down again.

"Get on with it!" Yelled Hinata. Suga started giggling while others told them to shut up and listen.

"WELL, Kageyama lived in an abusive household and his ex-teammates were harassing him. I won't say exactly what happened as that's not my place but Kageyama wanted to give you guys a little insight into what's been happening. He had to work 3 jobs to stay alive and that's why he was always late for training or had to leave early. He feels and about everything that has been going on and hopes you guys can forgive him." Tsukishima said looking at Kageyama every once in a while to make sure he's comfortable.

Everyone was shocked and didn't know what to say. All this time they were judging Kageyama and his behaviour. Although nobody went to Hinata or Sugawara's extent of hate, they all had thoughts about Kageyama not being dedicated, where as in reality he was the most dedicated out of all of them.

Apologies left everyone's mouths as they panicked. They could not believe that they'd done that to a teammate. They haven't done anything wrong as per say (-Hinata, Suga, Tanaka, Noya) but they watched people say horrible things and didn't protect Kageyama. Guilt overwhelmed all of them.

Kageyama politely said thank you and left, taking his bag with him. Tsukishima followed and did the same.

"How are you?" Tsukishima asked worriedly checking up on Kageyama. He doesn't want to admit it but he knows he'd never get this worried about anyone, meaning Kageyama is somewhat special to him.

"I'm ok. Relieved that I've told them the truth and that they seemed to still want to be my friends. Suga and Hinata looked super guilty and as bad as it sounds, I was happy seeing them feel a little pain." Kageyama said looking ahead at the sun.

"No, it makes sense. I'd feel the same way." Tsukishima said smiling as they both sat down at a park bench. Kageyama discreetly scooted closer to Tsukishima. Tsukishima was Kageyama's definition of perfection. If he could have him he would hesitate. He already likes the idiot.

Tsukishima slowly closed the distance between their hands and heals Kageyama's hand in his. Kageyama's hands were soft, warm and loveable. Kageyama was shocked at first but he quickly relaxed and intertwined their fingers.

They sat in silence enjoy echothers body heat. Kageyama gently leaned his head on Tsukishima's shoulder. The sound of wind and muffled peoples voices were all they heard. They were both focused on the feelings in their chest as they sat so close.

"Let's go to your house.... we can get your clothes and belongings since they'd be at work, and if someone is home, you'll have me. I want to help you! Plus they should be in cells anyways!!" Tsukishima said breaking the silence.

"Only i-if you stay with me..." Kageyama whispered hesitantly.

"I will. Come on let's get going!" Tsukishima said as he stood up, taking Kageyama up with him. They slowly untangled their hands and started walking to Kageyama's house.

They got to Kageyama's house not so long after.  Kageyama looked under the carpet and saw the spare key. His hands were shaking so Tsukishima helped him open the door.

They walked inside and it was dead silent. Tsukishima exhaled in relief that nobody was there.

"Come on Kags, let's quickly pack then get the hell out of here!" Tsukishima said walking up the stairs, assuming Kageyama's room was there. Kageyama nodded and followed, taking the lead once they got to the top of the stairs.

They packed all of Kageyama's belongings in their volleyball bags before running out of the house and locking the door so no one would be suspicious.

Kageyama has never felt so happy and excited. Thanks to Tsukishima he feels himself coming out of his comfort shell and letting people in. He'll forever be grateful to Tsukishima.
