How To Play: Smoke On The Water

I said I wanted to teach y'all how to play a song on guitar, and I'm doing just that

So this is like the easiest song on guitar. Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple is the real basic shit. One finger, one string

Ok so take your D string and just strum it. Don't press on any frets, just strum it.

With that same string, now strum while holding down onto the 3rd fret

Move up to the 5th fret

Good job, now play the first two notes again

Once you did that, go up to the 6th fret and quickly move to the 5th fret again

Awesome job. Now play the first thing you played (0-3-5) with the addition of going back to the 3rd fret and open strum it once more

Here's how it should look:

0-3-5
0-3-6\5
0-3-5-3-0

Congratulations, you played the easiest song possible
