Before I get into the original and new version, this is what I mean with the tiers.

S tier represents my favorite band

A tier is represents my favorite bands

B tier represents the the bands and artists who do not have a bad song from what I've heard but they can be just a tiny bit better.

C tier represents the bands and artists who also don't have a bad song from what I've heard but they're not great. They could be worse though.

D tier represents the bands and artists who are meh and kinda overrated.

F tier is just the worst and the bands or artists who are super terrible and overrated.

(Warning: I cover VERY controversial topics as in I REALLY hate bands that most people love. I get if an opinion offends you, but please be nice about it. If you do choose to be an asshole, please don't ever talk to me again, I won't miss you. Just respectfully disagree m8, not hard)

Here's the original.

What's changed is that I moved CCR to C tier, moved Jimi Hendrix and Billy Joel to B tier, and moved The Doors to A tier

I still hate AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Fleetwood Mac with every fiber of my being. The Stones aren't exactly that bad but basically any late 60s to early 70s band are in competition for the most annoying fanbase and The Stones are high up on there, but if you're part of the fandom kudos to you. Steely Dan is ok, but not something I would ever listen to.

I think Bob Dylan is self explanatory. Y'all are gonna be mad, but I don't like David Bowie all that much. I don't hate him, but like Steely Dan, something I wouldn't find myself listening to. Grateful Dead I mean- Basically D tier is filled with people I wouldn't listen to but a possibility I can. And Aerosmith I think is overrated, enough said.

I put Creedence Clearwater Revival in C tier because they're not that bad but John Fogerty's voice can get a bit annoying after a bit. Elton John I have a lot of respect for but his music is a bit too peaceful and that's not exactly what I think of when I think of classic rock. My ma's gonna be mad at me but I put The Eagles here because like Elton John some of their songs can be a bit too peaceful but the ones I listen to aren't as much. Cream is basically known as the ones who kinda influenced Psychedelic Rock and a bit of Hard Rock but they don't have that sound like Rush have with three people which I'll get into later. I didn't think they would sound like a five person band, but I think they're a-ok in my book.

I might be spared tonight but I put Rush at B tier because they can get THAT sound out of three people, it proves that they're balls to the walls talented, maybe the most talented band to ever live. Billy Joel I thought would be the kind of band that would be a bit too peaceful but man he ain't. I know everyone would kill me if I put The Beatles any lower but I actually do like them especially their later days where they definitely sounded like the average hard rock band like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple at the time which I really do like. Jimi Hendrix is without a doubt one of the greatest guitarists if not the best of all time. I mean, you can hear the psychedelic rock in his music dare I say it more than Pink Floyd in the years 1975-the time they disbanded.

I don't think I need to explain but I love these bands, I talk about them too much. The Doors are known for their blues rock style and it sounds very groovy. Deep Purple is without a doubt THE most underrated band ever because they're only known for Smoke On The Water when there is so many great songs from them. Led Zeppelin, nuff said. Queen, nuff said. The Who are the loudest band and I think that's great, add that with Monnie going ballistic on the drums and John's killer bass and you got a great band. Pink Floyd are known to be the most notorious psychedelic band of all time especially in the 60s with Syd and The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. I also love their harder stuff like Wish You Were Here and The Wall, but I hated how they lost the psychedelic vibe they had in the early days.

I've said it way too many times, but Skynryd is my favorite band off all time. Not once did they ever lose the thing that made them notorious and that was their southern rock. When relating to southern rock, they're the most notorious band but when relating to classic rock they're underrated due to the fact everyone knows them because of Sweet Home Alabama for the memes. But just, damn man.
