Before You Watch The Movie: The Doors (1991)

So, if you know anything about The Doors, you know that there was a movie directed about The Doors. Well, mostly Jim Morrison. I really want to see it even if it has a lot of inaccuracies. That's why we're here.

I don't know much about Jim Morrison, but I have seen several live performances of The Doors and he seems to be the quiet type, not really wanting to make a scene.

In the movie, it shows Val Kilmer aka Jim Morrison in the movie being the complete opposite. The video up top will explain it better.

Ok, I know in one performance Jim was being a party animal (thanks gifs) on the stage, but in others he's very still, not Robert Plant but American and brunette.

Like I said, I don't know much about Jim so I can't determine whether or not his personal life in the movie is accurate. Again, I haven't seen it so I don't even know if it does show Jim's personal life. I think it does since if you think of The Doors, you probably think of Jim Morrison.

So, I'm not saying that you shouldn't watch it, I'm saying that this is what you should be aware of when you watch it.
