Welcome to this sad excuse to end this book. Here I take my favorite bands and former favorite bands and I give my little review on them
So before we start, Pink Floyd was a British (initially starting out) psychedelic rock band formed by guitarist and singer Syd Barrett, bassist Roger Waters, keyboardist Rick Wright, and drummer Nick Mason. Under this lineup, they released one album called The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. Eventually, Syd left the band and was replaced by guitarist David Gilmour, and this is the one that everyone remembers because this lineup released The Wall, Wish You Were Here, and The Dark Side Of The Moon. Sometimes after The Wall because I'm too lazy to look it up, the band split up
It's so secret that I love Pink Floyd. I love their psychedelic era, I love their hard rock era, I refuse to go past The Wall
If I can accurately describe Pink Floyd, it would be their psychedelic era is great to listen to while on LSD (go figure, that's what psychedelic rock is) and their later stuff makes you question your life while under the affects of LSD
So long story short, they never lost their psychedelic feel, though it was more prominent in the 60s
Let me tell you, it's very hard to determine which era of Pink Floyd I like best. Though I like more of their songs from their hard rock era, I'll always remember them as a psychedelic band. Anyway, here are my favorite songs from Pink Floyd
1. Comfortably Numb (The Wall, 1979)
2. Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 1 (The Wall, 1979)
3. The Happiest Days Of Our Lives (The Wall, 1979)
4. Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 (The Wall, 1979)
5. Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 3 (The Wall, 1979)
6. Young Lust (The Wall, 1979)
7. Hey You (The Wall, 1979)
8. Have A Cigar (Wish You Were Here, 1975)
9. Wish You Were Here (Wish You Were Here, 1975)
10. Welcome To The Machine (Wish You Were Here, 1975)
11. Time (The Dark Side Of The Moon, 1973)
12. Us And Them (The Dark Side Of The Moon, 1973)
13. Brain Damage (The Dark Side Of The Moon, 1973)
14. Eclipse (The Dark Side Of The Moon, 1973)
15. See Emily Play (The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, 1967)
16. The Scarecrow (The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, 1967)
17. Interstellar Overdrive (The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, 1967)
18. Jugband Blues (A Saucerful Of Secrets, 1968)
19. Arnold Layne (like sometimes in 1967)
I had one or two from Animals but I forgot which ones they were. Oh well
But that's my synopsis of one of the world's biggest bands. And no, I'm not kidding, TDSOTM stayed on the album charts for years
