"We'll be in China in a few hours. Made a stop at Hong Kong." the male's voice sounded on the telephone.

"Wait! You know the little buns that are made near the airport. I'll send you the address, get me a few." Zhao ordered.

"Fatass "

"I'm a doctor in a high-class hospital, my needs need to be treated, otherwise-"

"I'm a doctor too. Just so you remember. Wait a sec, Nikki wants something."

"You brought company?"

"You'll like him." the male hung up as he watched the newspaper. It was exploring all theories as to why Mr. Kim might have had an outrage. Some were implying he was stressed, some that his wife was cheating with Shen Wei, some implied he was sick or that it was Shen Wei's fault.

It could only be Zhao who thought it was worth it to call his friends from Europe for a job because he trusted them. He even paid for their tickets. The duo consisted of Nikki, a Japanese male, and Cooper, a Spanish playboy with who Zhao so happened to study at med school. He liked the guy and they stayed in contact for many years before Cooper's disappearance. Nikki was the one who tracked the male down and took him in.

Before coming to Zhao, the duo visited Mr. Kim. They observed his actions and the male didn't seem to be in contact with his wife. Nor other women. He met up with a business partner, but otherwise, he was always assisted by his chauffeur.

"Tell Ronan to hack his phone-"

"Already did."Nikki winked at his grinning partner.

"He wants us to get attention from the bastard, but make it seem like he's the bad guy."

"Got it."

When Nikki and Cooper arrive they spot a good-looking doctor, with a very handsome patient. "Is this the model agency or the hospital? Nikki look at the map-"

"Shut up," Zhao smirked before going in for a hug with Cooper.

"You bastard were sure a late bloomer."

"I'm Asian. I don't age. You on the other hand already have wrinkles." he tilted his head.

"He's right about the Asian part." Nikki piped in. That's when Zhao saw the vibrant red hair. It wasn't really hard to spot, hell it was really attention-consuming.

"Nikki- Zhao. Zhao-Nikki."

"Shen- "

"Wei." the duo synchronized.

"You're quite the celebrity." Nikki chuckled, pointing at the newspaper. Even in a sick state, one could see the potential.

Shen Wei smiled politely at the unknown man. It seemed like his company was Zhao's friend so he didn't have a reason to be cautious.

He observed the two. It was obvious that the two came from afar. Even the redhead didn't seem to have the typical Japanese courtesy. His assumption would be that they live somewhere in England because of Nikki's accent.

"We studied in med school together for some time." Zhao implied, pointing at Cooper.

The man didn't look like a doctor. His neck tattoo and baggy clothes made him seem more like a model or a trendsetter. His style though wasn't as flaring and daring as Nikki's. How could someone with dyed bright red hair not get attention?

"I speak a bit of Japanese because of my parents. Yet I grew up in Europe."

"You're an excuse of an Asian," Zhao commented.

Nikki gasped, laying an arm to his heart.

"Coop defibrillator, now..." he created a scene, holding on to his partner.

"There's no hope." Cooper sighed, "don't waste the electricity-"

"Bastard," Nikki commented dryly.

After the exchange, they headed out to eat as the tourists were starving. They wanted Shen Wei to come but he declined politely. After all, it wasn't really his type of company, neither was Zhao, but Zhao was an exception.

"Chief Zhao is out with his friends and asked me to check on you." Zhu Hong smiled slightly at the first encounter with Shen Wei. Their eyes locked and she could imagine people in court losing focus when they saw him.

After she checked a few monitors and his heart rate she was about to leave. The patient thought wasn't all looks. What he asked next shook her to the core.

"What do you want to do about it?" he asked her as her hand went automatically to her stomach.

"So you know?"

"I do now."

Snake Lady gasped.

"I heard Chief Zhao getting notice that you were in the ER. You don't seem to have any wounds on the outside and are quite young for chronic disease. There might have been a possibility but you're strangely holding your hand to your stomach."

"Smart bastard." she breathed out.

For some reason, just with that breath, she let go of all her clinging to not liking this person. He didn't do anything to her. On the contrary, he seemed like a good person to talk to.

"An hour with me is 300$, so I'd use it in case you need something."

"Jesus you're a lawyer too." she sighed yet again, realizing he might be right, "unfortunately there is no way I can sue my ex for cheating."

Shen Wei smiled sadly. "So he cheated and you are left with the baby."

She nodded.

"Does he know?"

"No, I don't want him to."

"That's some good guilt pressure. If you don't want to tell him, tell his lover. Find her and tell her."

"That's outright pathetic."

"Not really. The woman thinks that she's the better choice if he chose her over you. Of course, she may be into men in relationships. But if you show her that you were pregnant, and your buddy still did it, she will start getting insecure. In case she developed feelings for him, even better. That will just mess his new relationship up."

"You look like an angel but are a devil inside. I love it." Zhu Hong truly smiled, feeling a bit better about letting it out.

"That's what you call a lawyer, doc." he smiled.

Lin Jing joins the men as they stuffed themselves with food.

"Jeez, it looks like you didn't eat for days. " Lin Jing came along as he was introduced to the group.

"Knowing your chief, he probably didn't." Cooper laughed, getting food on his plate. Lin Jing saw Nikki's side glance at it and the theories about the relationship of the two started swirling in his head.

"So what I was interested about this whole time, how come Cooper got someone who sticks to him. You don't look like a doctor."

"I'm an Air Force Navy," Nikki said. Lin Jing automatically spit his foot out, nearly choking on it.

"You have my respect." he nearly saluted the male, yet stopped as he got weird glances.

Zhao was impressed. Not only did they not look like what they were doing, he knew that they were damn good at it.

"Nikki and I have known each other since childhood. My father took him in, then things went south and I had to deal with some things on my own. That wasn't the best choice. I had amnesia for a long time until Nikki found me.

"How can you know such a cool guy!"Lin Jing exclaimed to Cooper to what everyone laughed at. He was confused about it until Zhao told him something.

"See the neck tattoo? Cooper's father has a gang. Nikki was a subordinate in the gang."

Lin Jing gasped at his own stupidity. Was he about to get killed?
