Nikki and Cooper strut into the hospital, Cooper already flirting with a few nurses as they had to wait for someone to tell them where Shen Wei's room was. Zhao, that asshole wasn't answering so they didn't have much choice.

"Damn you and your memory. Shouldn't doctors have a good memory?" Nikki raised his brow at him in a sassy kind of way where the only thing missing, was him thrusting his hips out in a 'mom' kind of way.

"Sorry, love. Remembering numbers is your thing."

Nikki flipped him off and took the hospital sheets only nurses had access to look through names.

"That damn bastard is hospitalized."

"I wouldn't say the lawyer is a bastard, I like him-"

"No idiot, Zhao."

"Again with his stomach problems?"

"Not sure, nothing else stands here."

When they walked into Shen Wei's room they could see that he was waiting for someone. It was as if his eyes were asking where the doctor was at.

"Sorry your honor, we just found out Zhao is hospitalized." Nikki's accent made it sound even smoother, had it not been for the 'your honor' part.

"Why?" He was standing up, reaching for his crutches when Cooper stopped him.

"He has had some gastritis problems in the past, I'm sure he's okay. He just doesn't take proper care of himself."

"Typical doctor. Are all doctors on some kind of a suicide mission to make their own health as miserable as possible without dying?" Nikki asked, to which Cooper nodded enthusiastically.

"Don't worry Shen Wei. As soon as he will wake up he will come to you. I saw your hospital card. With all the injuries you should be in bed as much as possible."

"Don't worry, your ass won't get flat," Nikki added. Shen Wei's laugh seemed light-hearted so the duo actually managed to get him out of his mental misery for now.

"Okay, now what happened?"

"I'm pretty sure that Mr. Kim will come right to you whenever he can. " Nikki said, looking in the distance.

"That lucky bastard even has somewhat of an alibi..."

"He took all of your luck," Nikki commented, making Cooper laugh.

It seemed like the both of them knew each other for a long time. No wonder if their jobs consisted of what Shen Wei heard of. The way they laughed at things that made no sense to others... Shen Wei had these kinds of clients before. They were partners until one of them died, only then did the other proceed to live a life with a marriage. Or one of them ended up taking all the blame and going to prison to protect the other one from the law. He didn't want to think about all the outcomes so he asked about Mr. Kim.

"So what exactly did you do?"

When they were done talking, Shen Wei was speechless.

"Can I ask you two for a favor? I don't think that it is possible to do it legally with Mr. Kim's position." the lawyer sighed.

"I guess we will be spending a bit more time exploring China." Nikki grinned, his vibrant red hair, matching his mischievous gaze.

They were about to exit the room when Nikki fell to the ground from the small window that showed them what was happening outside.

"You've got to be kidding me...Coop get away from the door. "

Nikki looked at the confused gazes directed at him.
