I don't believe that when you're gone, you're gone;
I think the spirit, wherever it is, lives on.
A fierce Jaguar in the wild;
Talking life in your stride.
A leaf from a willow tree;
Dancing, free, in the breeze.
You are where you're meant to be;
I just hope you're safe, I hope you're good, I hope you're happy.I'm busy today but I'll think of you;
You know I always do.
I'm sad today but I'll talk to you;
I might be mad, but you were too.
I'm happy today so I'll smile for you;
An eagle in the sunset, so pure and true.
You are where you're meant to be;
I just hope you're safe, I hope you're good, I hope you're happy.There's nothing I can do or say to make you come back to me;
I can't change the past, so even if you did, I fear a repeat of history.
So, go, wherever it is that's calling your name,
I'll be fine with your smile in a frame.
Don't wait up for me;
This life won't be easy.
But I'm happy that you're free;
And I hope you're happy.I'll remember causing chaos with you in the shadows;
And how we never admitted to what we did, such cowards.
But we made memories that I will hold with me until I see you again and I can tell you all about the things you may have missed;
All the laughs, all the tears, all the friends, all the kids.
Your wide eyed grin and your stupid sense of humor,
Imagery of my happiness; a never-ending summer.
What I wouldn't do to see you one last time;
What I wouldn't do to see you smile.
But I hope that you're singing the way you always wanted to;
I just wish you weren't taken so soon.
But I hope you're free, I hope you've found peace;
I hope you're happy.
