"No please" Dawn begged the owner of the home, Miss Heather, as she was hit again. Dawn hated the home but she was abused by her parents and she has been to multiple foster homes all the same abuse. Dawn can not remember anyone who has ever loved her. Miss Heather dragged her out the door into the garden before going off to talk to some of the potential parents.

"Esme, you can go home if you want" Carlisle was walking around with his wife he had been asked to attend as he had seen many of these children and was a little bit of a celebrity with them and they often asked to see him when they came into the hospital.

"No Carlisle, I am fine" She seemed quite distant with him which he found to be odd until he realised that she was staring off towards the flower bed

Carlisle looked just past Esme to the young girl sitting by herself. Carlisle felt Esme's hand slip away as she made her way over to the flower bed. "Hello my name is Esme and this is my husband Carlisle what is your name"

"Dawn" She whispered incredibly quietly hoping that they would go away and play with one of the children who were happy they always see to be the favourites.

"That's a beautiful name, just like you" Dawn felt like the woman was lying, as all she had ever been told was that she was just unworthy, ugly and she deserves everything that has ever happened to her.

Dawn kept her hands behind her back as they slowly filled with the flowerers, she pulled them out from behind her back they were red poppies, she handed them to Esme before getting up and walking back inside. "Please Carlisle" Esme pleaded as they headed back to the car

He sighed hating to see his wife so sad "We can talk about it when we get home with everyone else"

"Dr and Mrs Cullen it is so nice to see you have you met any children you like"

"Yes, a beautiful young girl called Dawn" Esme quickly said

"That is great she has been in the system for years, she is very shy but I am sure she would warm up to you, just a heads up though Dawn rarely speaks and when she does it is very few words," Miss Heather said with her best smile.
