Quinn's hands dropped to the floor and a light blue glowing liquid leaked from his hands, it slowly started to take form before finally fully extracted from the liquid but now the liquid was gone.
Its glow started to dim and we saw a ................................
A thin crystalline mirror. I inched closer and tapped the mirror, it rippled from my touch and that's when I realised the mirror was made of water.
The head of a panther showed through the mirror, its deep-sea blue eyes stared back into mine. It brought its head out of the mirror shrinking as it emerged more and more, from its once large form stood a panther the size of a cat.
"Quinn, you requested my services." She spoke with a mature feminine voice.
"Tsunami, I'd like you to meet Prince Aaron, Imperial sorcerer Kayden and Lady Cora," Quinn said.
"My honour to meet you." She said with a bow.
"Hey, you forgot to introduce me," Jasper yelled.
"My apologies, this is Cora's companion Jasper," Quinn said.
"Ah, a griffin summoning. Tell me griffin, where is your Master?" Tsunami spoke.
"Firstly, my name is Jasper; secondly I have no master," Jasper said.
"Impossible, every summoning has a summoner. Stop playing games and tell me." She said continuing her stoic tone.
"Tsunami, why do you say Jasper is a summoning?" Quinn asked
"I can sense it, no beast can speak." Tsunami replied.
"So he's been lying to us from day one, for all we know he could be against us." Kayden sneered
He swiftly made a blade from ice attempting to slice him in half, out of nowhere a black crystalline blade appeared in my hand and blocked him.
"Wait, what if he's just lost and confused? Would you kill an innocent?"I asked.
"A dark magic-user." Tsunami sneered.
She launched for my neck, her teeth bared but Jasper tackled her down, they circled each growling ready to kill.
"Stop!" Quinn and I echoed.
We each reached and dragged them away from themselves.
"I'll kill her then you." Tsunami sneered.
"Fine, kill me but no one gonna touch Cora, she's been through enough already," Jasper said.
"What have you gone through, Cora?"Kayden asked.
"You know what, I think we should call it a night," Cora said.
"We are not done with this conversation," Kayden said attempting to grab me.
"You're not but I am, goodbye," I said brushing him off and going to shower.
I was about to leave but then I thought they'd hurt Jasper so I picked him up and continued my walk to the bathroom.
I turned back to the boys and said, "I wish you a goodnight and close the door when you leave."
I walked in and shut the door behind me and put the shower on.
Quinn's POV
I don't understand, I truly don't, how could a pleasant evening end so bad, why did everything have to go wrong now, when I was just closer to Cora.
Kayden furiously walked towards the bathroom door, he looked ready to break it down.
"Kayden, let's just leave it for now," Aaron said putting his hand on Kayden shoulder.
