Chapter 7

Previously: "At least it's a color I like,I'll go put in on."I said picked up the dress an walked into the closet.

I stripped to my undergarments and picked up the dress.

"Here wear these shoes with it."Jasper said.

I turned to see him holding a pair of blue flats,I looked down at myself I was only in a bra and underwear,he dropped the shoes and me strange.

"Get out‼"I shouted and threw my sneakers at him.

He shielded his head with his wings and ran out.

"Idiot."I mumbled.

I changed into the dress and flats a neatly packed my cloths back in my bag.

"What is wrong with you why would you enter the closet while I was changing?" I asked/yelled at him.

"To give the shoes and what do I get in return I shoe to the head."He said offended.

"I was half naked next time knock."I yelled back.

"And so what if you were half nak- oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to I'm sorry."He realizing what he had done.

"Nah,it's okay I forgive you just knock next time."I said knowing he was only trying to help.

I sat with Jasper for while doing nothing so I took out my sketchpad and decided to draw everyone I met today starting with Jasper and ending with Valentine,then there was a knock on the door then Quinn popped his head in.

"Um Cora where are you?"He asked since I drawing on a window sill away from the door.

"I'm at the windowsill come in."I said then I realized that I was still holding my sketchpad.

'I love to draw but I don't want any attention cause heck even Jasper doesn't know when he asked what I was doing I told him I highlighting.'

I quickly hid it but Quinn saw me hide something.

"What are you hiding?"He asked politely.

"Nothing."simple short don't so they don't know your lying.

"But I saw you hide something,what was it?"He asked a bit more serious but still polite

'he won't take nothing for an answer think Cora think,aha.'

"Okay,I'll tell you later,"'yh like never I'll just wait for you to forget' "you came in looking for me why and how was the audience with the king?"I asked him to divert his attention away from me.

"Oh yes I came to fetch you for the audience,Aaron thinks you should meet the king."He said.

'Hold the fucking pause,they want me to meet a king, why? Yh sure I'm brave but sometimes I can say dumb stupid things what if I said something wrong to the king then it's off with my head,or worse,who knows,and what will they do just summon another visitor,I'm screwed I-'My thoughts were interrupted by my name.

"Cora,are you listening to me?Cora,Cora."Quinn said.

Quinn was waving his hands before my eyes I shook my head.

"Sorry I spaced out,why do you what me to see the king?"I asked a little bit scared.

"It's alright you seem to just be worried about meeting the king don't worry,Okay?"He said reassuringly.

"Okay but what about Jasper?"I asked pointing to at him.

"Yeah,what about me?"Jasper asked.

"Oh you'll stay here,the king isn't too friendly with beasts."He answered.
