Chapter 9

Previously:"Oh ok then,I'll have that arranged for you,am guessing you'd like cook for yourself today."He said in a questioning voice.

"Nah,I've got it covered for today but tomorrow I'll start."I said happily.

"Ok well bye."Jasper said.

"Jasper stop they will stay for as long as they want to."I said in a scolding voice.

"Eh,who are you my mom leave me be."He retorted.

"I'm not your mom but someone's got teach you manners."I said.

"Well,mind your business."He said and walked away.

'I swear he is such a diva,just look at him.'

"Sorry bout he's well something but um,yeah."I said unsure of how to apologize.

"No,he's right we should be going it is evening since that audience took longer than expected,we should allow you to rest."Aaron said.

"Oh, well then bye."I said.

They nodded in response and left the room.

I sleepy not to long after they had left and Jasper curled at my feet,that's wear my nightmare began.

I was back at my uncles house and I was 16 and I had just gotten back from school none of his kids were home yet cause they had clubs and things like that to attend I wasn't allowed to do such but I had sneaked out of the house for practice I was in the gymnastics team my aunt got me sign up and I loved it ever since but uncle doesn't like to see me happy,it angers him even him,I sneaked back in through the window in my room well prison to see my uncle seated on my bed drinking.

'This won't end well maybe I can run while his isn't looking.'

I started inching closer to the door when he turned to look at me.

"Hey whore come here,where were you? Let me guessing fucking some random guys being the slut that you are,I don't care come over and be the worthless slut you are and pleasure me."He reaching out to grab my hand.

I pulled back and ran for the door I got to the stairs before I was grabbed by arm and thrown at the wall,I had the air knocked out of me but stood up to try and run again but I was grabbed by the hair pulled and slapped across the face.

"Little slut stop running and just make it a lot easier for yourself,you've been treasuring that virginity for too long and now I want it,I can be your first everything,your first kiss should be mine and now I'll take it after all your dumb parents left you behind when they died and I'm stuck with you,so I'll take you as compensation."He said stroking my cheek.

A new burst of energy filled my vein anger,anger had been kindled in me by his insults about my parents,I pushed him away and slapped hard so hard it left a bruise.

"I am not a slut and you have no right over my parents were murdered and you know it,they were loving,kind,compassionate something you will never be,you're a sorry excuse of a human being much less a father,I would rather be burned alive than for a fucking bastard like you to ever touch me,I swear talk shit about my parents again and I'll put you on your death bed you fucking prick so stop being an asshole and leave me alone,go fuck yourself you bastard‼"I yelled.

I turned to walk away from him,but he grabbed me and slammed my head on a wall.

"Hmmm,looks like the little slut here has started growing wings well I'm gonna enjoy cut them off,now come here."He said dragging me away by my hair.

He threw me into my room and started unbuttoning his shirt,I used that as an opportunity to try and escape but he grabbed my shirt a pulled sending me back and ripping my shirt in the process and groped my chest,I scream and cried for help but no one was home he was about to pull down my pants when my aunt ran into room and pulled me from him and pushed me out of the room and into Ashley's room and locked the door from the outside and left a few hours later the door opened and my aunt and Ashley walked in and started dressing my wounds till the door was yanked opened by my uncle looking furious he yanked his belt from the loops and raised it at me I screamed again louder than ever.Then I heard some yell my name over and over again.

I shut up from the bed in a cold sweat and turned to see Jasper looking at me with concern with tears cascading down my eyes he reached out to me and I flinched.

"Cora,are you okay what's wrong?"He asked reaching out to me again but this time I didn't flinch.

I pulled him into a hug tears falling from my eyes soaking his fur,he cooed me and tried to calm me down my sobs soon turned to sniffles and soon I fell asleep in Jasper's embrace.

JASPER

I curled up at Cora's feet until I felt someone kick I woke up ready to shout whoever kicked me but instead I saw Cora wiggling and kick fear written on her face with tears cascaded down her cheeks I walked up to her to try and find out what was happening as I reaching her face she started screaming and crying for help.

"Cora calm down,what's happening to you? You're having a bad dream open your eyes."I said in a soft voice trying to calm her down.

She stopped screaming and silently cried burying her face into a pillow I thought the worst of it was over then she flinched and turned pulling her head from the pillow and screamed again louder than before,I jumped to her side and started shaking her awake.

"Cora! Cora! Cora!"I yelled her name over and over again.

She shut up and turned to look at tears running down her face I tried to reach out to her to calm her down but she flinched away.

'Ouch,that hurt is she scared of me? No it can't be,she just had a nightmare it must be that,she needs someone to comfort her I have to try again and if that doesn't maybe I'll try to go get Quinn or Aaron or even Kayden cause I don't know what to do here,they would what to do right? I can't lose Cora,I may not remember anything about myself but first memories are with her the first friendly face I saw was hers the first person to care about was her I can't lose her,I may have not known her for long but she's important,seeing her in pain breaks my heart.'

I tried to touch her again but this time she didn't flinch in fact she pulled into a hug and cried into my shoulder soaking my fur but I didn't care I stroked her head.

"Shhh,everything fine now Cora your safe,it was just a nightmare,you're gonna be just fine."I continued saying reassuring words to her in a soft voice and soon she fell asleep hugging me.

I don't know what happened but somehow have me in her arms seemed to calm her down and I was happy with that.

No cliffhanger but what do you think about this chapter? I need your honest opinion.
