Chapter 22

Previously: I burst out laughing.

"Aaron you were so cute," I said.

"Whatever," Aaron replied.

We continued laughing until.........

There was a loud knock on the door and Valentine voice was heard.

"Lady Cora, are you ready to make your meal?"She asked from the door.

"Yes, give me a minute or two to get ready, I'll meet you in the kitchen," I said.

"Yes, Lady Cora."She said her footsteps receding.

"So, I guess our game is over," Aaron said.

"Well, I was kinda thinking you guys wait here while I go cook and bring back some food for you guys," I said.

"Fine by me," Aaron said.

"Quinn, Kayden what about you?"I asked.

"That would be nice, thank you," Quinn said.

"Sure why not, just don't poison me," Kayden said.

"I won't, I cook well," I said.

"It's true I've eaten it before," Jasper said.

"Ok whatever, anyone got any allergy I need to know about?"I asked getting up.

"None, I'd eat anything available," Quinn said.

"Extra spicy, I love spicy food, food that lacks pepper makes me feel nauseous," Aaron said.

"Nothing too spicy, I'm not allergic I just dislike it," Kayden said.

"Ok, got it," I said leaving.

It was pretty hard getting back from the kitchen holding a large tray of plates sorted it by color so I'd know the difference I put the extra spicy food in black plates, the medium spicy in a grey plate and spiceless 'as I like to call it' food in blue plates, for Quinn I made it medium spicy, for Aaron and myself extra spicy and for Kayden, Manda and Jasper little to none 'cause Kayden hates pepper and Jasper kept sneezing as I added pepper to mine so maybe he's sensitive to pepper. Though, Jasper helped me with the drinks.

I was close to the door when I heard whispering and like any normal person, I listened.

"I don't it would be wise to look at her drawings."Quinn's voice said.

They're checking my drawings

"I'm bored; I got to look at something."Aaron's voice protested.

"Then look at your hands or in the mirror, you don't poke your nose into a girls business," Manda spoke.

"Fine, I won't. Are you guys happy now?!"Aaron said then the thud of a book dropping was heard.

Thank God. they aren't checking it

I moved back and opened the door, making Aaron jump slightly.

"Hey guys sorry it took long, I had to make it 3 different ways," I said with a slight giggle.

"No problem," Aaron replied taking his seatback.

I distributed the plates according to their tastes.

"So shall we continue?"I asked.

"Sure but Aaron can you summon Pearl, it's been a while since we talked; I miss my friend," Manda said.
