Bucky sat on the chair while looking at the clock, twenty-five minutes late for the past three days. He sighed and got up going to the elevator and clicking on her floor but it didn't go up, he raised his eyebrow and clicked again but it didn't work.
"Friday, Why can't I go to Khai's floor?" Bucky asked, "She requested." Friday replied and Bucky frowned before leaving the elevator and going to the living room, He saw Tony, Thor, and Nat.
"Tony, Khai didn't attend the training. and it's been three days, Is she okay?" Bucky asked and Tony looked at Bucky. "She was here like ten minutes ago, and she was perfect. Did anything happen between the two of you?" Tony asked and Bucky shook his head.
Nothing happened between them, Yes. Bucky likes her. She's strong, smart, beautiful, and everything you'd want in a woman, what's not to like? but he didn't make a move on her, So why was she distancing herself?
"Nothing, can you tell Friday to let me go to her floor?" Bucky said and Tony nodded, After that Bucky went to the elevator. When he reached her floor he saw peter studying, peter looked at bucky and gulped. Khai told Peter and he gave her the same advice as Thor's.
"You're not supposed to be here," Peter said standing up, Bucky rolled his eyes and walked to her room barging in.
Bucky's breath hitched when he saw Khai only in a towel, Khai tightened her towel and glared at bucky. "What are you doing? don't you know how to knock?" Khai snapped, Bucky looked at her from up till down and smirked.
"We didn't knock in the nineties," he said and Khai rolled her eyes, he closed the door behind him and she scoffed. "Can you leave? I want to get dressed," she said but bucky ignored her and sat on her bed, she sighed and grabbed her clothes and entered the bathroom slamming the door hard.
Stupid bucky! and you're wondering why she's ignoring you? here's the answer! bucky thought to himself. When she left the bathroom and bucky stood in front of her.
"Why are you ignoring me?" he asked and Khai shrugged, looking everywhere except him.
"Look at me while I'm talking to you," he said grabbing her chin gently. Khai gulped and looked at his lips before quickly looking at his eyes.
"Get out Bucky," She said.
