Two months later,
"What's up?" Khai asked entering her father's lab, she saw her father holding a blue serum inside of an injection needle. Khai raised her eyebrow at him.
"This is a super-soldier serum, Steve and Bucky took it." he started, and Khai nodded slowly. "You're gonna take it," He said and Khai chuckled.
She won't take a super-soldier serum, not when she's about to hit her mid-forties. "You won't age, and I think that's what you care about the most," Tony said, Khai rolled her eyes.
Of course, she doesn't want to age, She wants to stay beside her fiance and daughter. But the serum would make her stronger, she would be exactly like steve. But do I want that? I belong in clinics and hospitals, not wars and fights. Khai thought. But I won't age and I might actually stay beside my beloved ones.
"I will take it, but after my wedding." Khai finally decided, "So in two days?" Tony asked, thankful that Khai said yes, she nodded at her father before leaving the lab going to Steve and sam's floor where is bucky staying since he can't see the bride before their wedding.
"Woah!" Sam said looking at Khai, she smiled and rolled her eyes. "Where's buck?" she said and sam pointed at bucky's old room and she nodded and walked there, Khai knocked at his door and held a come, she opened the door and smiled at her soon-to-be husband who was laying on his bed reading a book.
"Where's ocean?" He asked but he realized he shouldn't be seeing Khai, "What are you doing here?" he asked and Khai laughed before running and then jumping on him.
"Ocean is with Wanda and vision, I came because I wanted to talk with you about something very important," Khai said and Bucky wrapped his arms around her, nodding.
"Dad offered me the super-soldier serum," Khai said, directly to the point.
"No," Bucky said and Khai raised her eyebrows, removing his hands and standing up.
"I think that's my decision to make-"
"I'm your partner Khai, we both need to make this decision and I said no." He said standing up as well, Khai sighed because what bucky is saying is true.
"Besides don't you always mention that you don't do violence? why now?" he asked.
"It's not about how strong I can be Bucky, it is about the age, I won't age anymore. I'm already forty babe." Khai said and bucky rolled his eyes before wrapping his arms around her waist, Their wedding is tomorrow and he doesn't want to fight with her.
