v. enies lobby arc

Shoto internally winced at the sight, soon finding himself turning around to avoid the painful view of Franky having his family jewels squeezed the life out of him.

"Robin, let go—!"

The other boys were pretty much busy with trying to convince the older woman to release her hold from Franky, finding it a painful and gruesome sight to see.

Shoto casted one last glance at the crying Franky before chuckling himself.

He was totally hiding his emotional reaction to leaving Iceberg and the City, which was understandable since Franky considers Iceberg and everyone else his family, and the city as his home. But nothing can be done now, Luffy was actually more demanding than he seems.

"I'll pull the sails." Shoto stated, already used to the pirate life, he has read a book about sailing and he was proud to say he learned more than he expected.

"Be careful, it's higher than usual."

Nonetheless, Shoto actually had a hidden talent and it was to climb wooden poles for the sails.

"Oi, Shoto, that's not how you pull the sails anymore!" Franky called out, frantically putting on his Speedo before rushing towards the ship, distress to see the boy already hanging by the wooden sails.

The heterochromatic had sweat dripping by his temple as he deadpanned at the cyborg.

"I-It's not?"

"Get down there, you'll break an ankle if you slip your hand!"

There was silence before Shoto looked at his hand and onto the crew gathering behind him.

"Well. . . The thing is, I can't get down."

Everyone sweatdropped, he can't get down? After seeing into his position more, they realized there was no line to zip into. Not to mention, the big wooden pole was now surrounded by ropes after Franky pulled the lever for the sails.

"I can gomu-gomu-no you out there!" Luffy enthusiastically exclaimed, but before the crew could stop the Captain from exploiting their younger crewmember, Luffy had already stretched himself up and accidentally pushed Shoto like his signature skill, bazooka.

"Luffy!"

"He's a lunatic, I can't—"

Shoto felt a lot things as he flew up in the air. But one thing he could specify the most was his will to just drown already. He just can't believe he was flung into the air, soon feeling the water splat behind him as the sea welcomed him willingly.

He could only float.

"Ah! He's floating!" Luffy exclaimed loudly from the sailing ship, pointing towards Shoto who was disappointed to have his expensive flip flops in the water with him.

"Idiot." Nami punched the Captain's head down.

"Oi, Luffy, that's not how you save someone from falling to death." Zoro remarked, crossing his arms against his chest, ready to swim over towards his (favorite) crewmember.

"No need." Shoto called out from his spot, halting the swordsman from exhausting himself. "I'll just come over in a sec."

"The ship is sailing, you'll have to be faster!" Franky said loud enough.

"I took swimming classes."

"Woah, your world even has classes?! Tell me more about it!" Luffy exclaimed, dragging himself on the railings, sitting patiently as he awaited for the boy to tell him.
