*Sophie's POV*
Ah, relaxation. I was on social media, mostly Instagram and Twitter, and basically having a fan base. Jasmine thought I was kidding of making #Jasey a trending topic. I actually got started.
I saw a bunch of retweets and replies from my Twitter followers and they spread the word out.
"Soph, dinner will be out in ten minutes!" Mom exclaimed.
Mom is one of those hard ass moms that don't give no bull about everything. Even if I lie about something, eventually she'll know about it. Sometimes, I hate it.
My other mom, Rachel, is the opposite. She's the nice, innocent one. Rachel's laid back, and I can easily lie to her.
Okay, I was lying with that one. Can't lie to her either because her and Mom are double teaming against me.
I heard a knock on the door, and someone opened the door.
"Soph, can I borrow your hot glue gun?"
My little brother, Diego, is the weirdo in this crazy family of mine. Every time, he's always inventing some crazy thing that even I don't understand. Besides that, he's playing video games and talking to girls.
Overall, he's my 13 year old brother and I love him. Cliché, right?
"Why do you need my glue gun?" I asked him.
"Because I need to glue something. Duh," he answered.
"What are you building?"
"Okay, now listen to this." He walks up to me. "Don't you feel lazy tying your shoe?"
I nodded my head. I'm a lazy bum, what are you gonna do?
"Well, my loving sister, I will solve your problem. This here ..." He takes out a weird and mechanical device. "Is the Shoe Lacer. The Shoe Lacer can automatically tie your shoe in seconds. Watch and learn."
He puts the Shoe Lacer on the ground and turns it on.
"Untie your shoe."
"Say please," I said. "You have to be nice to your customers or they'll take their money elsewhere."
"Please untie your shoe," he say.
"Good." I untie one of my sneakers.
"Now, let the Shoe Lacer do its magic." He handed me a remote control. "Press the button." I glared at him. "Please."
There was literally like three buttons on it so, I chose the red one because, well it's red.
The Shoe Lacer turned on, and the little robot thing started to dance. It started to play a little song. It went up to my foot, and started to tie my shoe.
Huh, I guess Diego's contraption actually works. Until, it started to smoke.
"I don't think it's supposed to do that," I stated.
"Crap. Turn the Shoe Lacer off." I glared at him. "Please." I smiled and pressed the same button.
"Great, now how am I going to fix it?" He asked.
I shrugged my shoulders. "You're the fixer in the family. Go back to the drawing board."
"Or, take a break and try to talk to some girls," he said. "I think I should do that."
"I can't believe you're turning fourteen."
"I can't believe you're turning eighteen."
"Just fix the thing," I ordered him. I gave him his remote thing back. "Go back to the drawing board."
