Third Person's POV
"Find her!" Mr. Vega exclaimed to the police.
It has been three hours since Jasmine was last seen anywhere. She'd left the police station after she'd found out that she was going to be in custody.
She ran off and the police didn't catch her.
"You left her all by herself?!" Mrs. Vega exclaimed to the police. "What kind of authority are you?!"
"Ma'am, please--"
"Don't say shit. Find my daughter or I'll report you to your superior."
Nate was sitting down, impatiently waiting for Jasmine's response. She hasn't called or texted him back.
From Nate: I don't want you to do this alone. I'd lied about some things and I'm sorry.
Mr. Vega was looking at Nate. Mr. Vega knew that this young man could be his son.
"What's your last name?" He asked Nate.
"Ruckus," Nate answered. "My mom's name is Patricia. Your ex-girlfriend."
"How old are you?" Mrs. Vega asked.
"Twenty-four."
"Look Nate, you have to get a DNA test," Mrs. Vega suggested. "Maybe you had the wrong person."
"Honey, can I speak to you for a second?" Mr. Vega asked her. They both got up and walked to the nearest room.
"He might be my son."
"What are you talking about?"
"He has my nose, my eyes, hell, he could be right," Mr. Vega answered.
She sighs. "You know his mother, don't you?"
"We'd dated before but broke up after two years. I didn't know she was pregnant."
"Get a DNA test to solve this. But first, we're finding our daughter if it kills me."

Trey was held in questioning with Detective Andrews in a small room. He was sweating in fear and anger when Detective Andrews started to talk.
"How long have you and Ms. Vega knew each other?" He asked.
"Since the second grade," Trey answered. "Then I didn't see her after the eighth grade."
"How come?"
"Because we graduated and went to different schools." Why is this guy asking me these dumb questions? He asked himself.
"What was the reason that Ms. Vega wanted to come to New York?" Detective Andrews asked.
"She had a meeting with Janie and Michael Baker," Trey answered. "She was singing."
"Now how did she get that interview?"
"Why are you asking irrelevant questions?"
"Why are you avoiding the question?" Detective Andrews questioned. "Do you know something that I should know?"
"All I know that she'd applied online and Janie Baker called her for an interview."
"Huh." He starts pacing back and forth. "Do your parents know that you're here?"
"My mom, yes."
"What about your dad?"
"None of your business," I answered. Trey was starting to get annoyed with Detective Andrews' questions about his personal life.
