Kairi's pov

We watched as mattia drove away speeding, I'm really hoping he doesn't get hurt or hurts himself in anyway.

Kai: "ms. Lopez"
L/m: "y-yes?" She said letting a tear out then wiping it
Kai: "d-do you want to ride with us?"
L/m: "if it's not a problem"
Ale: "it's not you can ride with us"

She looks at ale with a gentle smile

L/m: "thank you"
Ale: "no problem"

I touch my pockets seeing if my phone was there and it wasn't, damn it I probably left in the hospital.

Der: "what are you looking for?"
Kai: "my phone I think I left it inside, you guys walk to the car and I'll meet you guys there"

They nod and walk to the car I jog inside so no one takes my phone, once I get to where we was sitting I didn't see my phone.

I'm fucked if someone took it, maybe the lady in the front desk has it. I walk up to the front desk with a worried look on my face.

Kai: "excuse me"
Lady: "yes?"
Kai: "was there any lost phone brought up here?"
Lady: "oh hunny we have a lot, is it an Android or iPhone?"
Kai: "iPhone 12 it's like a navy blue color and red phone case"

She goes under her desk and pulls out a box with a iphones and I seen my phone on top

Kai: "that one there on top"

She hand me my phone with a smile

Kai: "thank you" I said letting out a sigh of relief
Lady: "your welcome love" she gave me a slight smile

I smiled at her and started walking towards the door, something told me to stop. I can't believe she's gone, no I refuse to believe she's gone. I need to see her one last time.

I start speed walking and then jogging to her room, I get to her room and I'm just staring her. Fuck she's really gone, I felt a hand on my shoulder and I look it's the doctor from earlier.

Doc: "son she's gone their about to take her"
Kai: "I know I wanted to see if she was really gone I- LEXIE!?" I said as My eyes widened

Lexie's pov

I woke up hearing two people talking, one was unfamiliar and the other was familiar. I bring my hand to my face grabbing whatever is over my face off of it.

??: "LEXIE!?"

As i try to sit up I winced at the pain I felt in my stomach an head, I held my head and I felt someone grab my hand.

??: "o-oh my g-god ur a-alive" a boy said crying

I looked at him because I heard crying coming from his direction It was a small boy

Lex: "umm hi?"
Kai: "h-hi"
Lex: "are you okay?"
Kai: "y-yeah I'm just happy y-you are"
Lex: "uh thanks but.....who are you? Are we dating or something, I'm sorry I don't know who you are so can you let go of me?" I asked genuinely wondering with a uncomfortable laugh

He looked at me shocked then let go and then looked at the doctor that was standing in the room.

He looks so good, his side profile, fluffy hair covering his full brown eyes, his plump kinda red lips, his pierced ears, his perfect somewhat sharp jawline, the rings he has on four out of ten of his fingers-

Kai: "LEXIE?!"
Lex: "I-I'm sorry I was spaced out w-what were you saying?"
Kai: "um my name is Kairi and we aren't dating lex. You have- well I think you were talking to- excuse me I gotta take this" he said grabbing his phone out of his pocket
Lex: "yea"

He walked away answering his phone

Kairi's pov

D-did she forget, did she loose her memory? Why does she think we are something more then best friends?

I caught her staring at me, I'm guessing she's waiting for an answer.

Kai: "I'm kai remember Kairi? nd I-uh no we're best friends"
Lex: ......
Kai: "are you okay?"
Lex: .......
Kai: "lexie? LEXIE!?"
Lex: "I-I'm sorry I was spaced out w-what were you saying?"
Kai: "um my name is Kairi and we aren't dating lex. You have- well I think you were talking to- excuse me I gotta take this" I said grabbing my phone out of my pocket
Lex: "yea"

Ale started calling me fuck I forgot they was waiting for me and they don't know she's awake, I walk out the room answering the phone.

Kai: "ale come to Lexie's room now all of you"

I hang up on him so he doesn't waste time talking to me, I walk back into the room and I see her staring at me.

Why do I feel like this is going to somehow effect how things were before, I mean I know it wouldn't be exactly the same how it was before the accident but if she thought we were dating what does she think her and mattia are? Would she even remember them?

Fuck.......
