Mattia's pov

I heard someone walking downstairs and it was obviously her mom.

L/m: "hey mattia where did lexie go?"
Tia: "oh she went to the corner store real quick"
L/m: "really the sun is going down I don't want her out this late by herself......."

As she finished her sentence Kairi called but I declined it so she can finish what she was saying.

L/m: "she knows I hate when she goes out this late especially when it's late there weirdos out by the corner store"
Tia: "I would've went with her but I-"

Before I finished my sentence I seen Alejandro was calling me, so I answered it.

Tia: "sorry I gotta take this......hello?"
Ale: "mattia bro you gotta go to the hospital by cedarwood park tell Lexie's mom to go with you Lexie's in the hospital she got into an accident"

As soon as he said that my heart shattered, fuck I knew I should've went went with her fuck this is my fault.

Tia: "Wait w-what happened?"
Ale: "I don't kno just hurry"

He hung up the phone I run to the door and start putting on my shoes while tears where falling out of my eyes.

L/m: "are you okay what's wrong?"
Tia: "n-no Lexie's in the hospital I'll wait for you in my car"

I can tell in that exact moment her worst fear became true she ran upstairs and I ran out the house into my car.

I pulled out the driveway into the front of the house and I seen her running towards my car with her purse, she opens the door gets in, and puts her seatbelt on. I tried not to cry because I didn't want my vision to get blurry we end up in a car wreck, so I kept wiping my eyes.

I look over to her mom for a quick second and I seen that she is texting Lexie's phone blowing it up hoping she'll answer, I seen a couple of tears drop on her phone.

I was kinda speeding to the hospital not caring if we got a ticket or not.

L/m: "mattia slow down"

I heard Lexie's mom say something but I wasn't paying attention

L/m: "MATTIA"
Tia: "oh I-I'm sorry" I said as I slowed down making a right turn

A couple minutes later and me and her mom is running outside and I seen Kairi, and Alejandro in the waiting room, so I run up to them. As I got closer I seen Kairi coverd in blood, that's when I got more scared.

Tia: "what happened? What happened? Where is she, what room?"
Ale: "mattia s-sit down dude calm down you freaking out right now isn't going to help anyone"
Tia: "I can't fucking calm down right now she could be fighting for her life right now"
L/m: "mattia hun s-sit down....I'm Lexie's mom what's wrong what happened?"
Kai: "I-I'm sorry this happened to her i was w-waving bye to her a-and a car was speeding and she crossed the street without looking. so I r-ran up to her once she got hit and sh- she was bleeding out by the t-time the paramedics ca-came" he said crying

I sat down and her mom sat in the chair next to me and began quietly crying but loud enough for me to hear so I pull her into a hug, trying to somewhat comfort her.

10 minutes later I get up and I go the front desk.

Tia: "excuse me is there any updates on lexie, lexie Lopez?"
Lady: "no she is still currently in surgery"
Tia: "okay thank you"

I walked back to Kai and them and I looked at Kairi kinda mad, I sat down and asked him

Tia: "Kairi how come you didn't fucking tell us she was in surgery?!" I said whisper yell
Ale: "mattia don't get mad to easily he's going to be traumatized because how he seen her it probably slipped his mi-"
Tia: "I don't care he c-"
L/m: "my poor baby....mattia go outside and cool off I'll let you know if they give us and update on her"

I look at her and got up but hesitated, I walked outside and walked to the closest bench to the entrance.

I can't believe she's in there fighting for her life right now, for all I know she could be dying and I wouldn't know. I stood there and just cried into my hands, praying she's doing good.

Alejandro's pov
I was still comforting Kairi when I heard a doctor say

Doc: "is lexie Lopez's family present?"
L/m: "yes" she went up to the doctor and so did we
Doc: "the surgery was successful but from how much blood she lost her heart is slowing down so if you want to say your goodbyes now's the time"

My heart sank I can't believe we're going to loose her, her mom is going to loose a daughter, Kairi's gunna loose a best friend, ima loose a little sister and mattia is going to loose the person he actually deeply cared about and loves other then his family.

L/m: "oh god no w-where is she, what room?"
Doc: "267-"

We then hear a the sound of a flatline go off. No please don't be her, please don't be her ple-

Nurse: "WE NEED A DOCTOR IN 267"

The doctor that was talking to us and we followed except for Kai as we reached the room we seen the doctor rub the defibrillator together and say clear and put them to her chest causing her body to jump up from the bed

I then seen mattia coming with Kairi and derek

Mattia's pov
I heard the electric doors open so I look and I seen Kairi and it looked like he was having a panic attack

Tia: "Kai, Kairi breath breath slow"
Kai: "I can't, I can't we're Gunna loose her mattia" he said breathing hella heavy

I then see derek run up to us

Der: "what wrong where is she and what's wrong with him?"
Tia: "he's having a panic attack, Kairi look at me"
Kai: "no mattia we-we're gu-"
Tia: "KAIRI"

*he looks at me*

Tia: "follow my breathing *inhales slow* *exhales slow*" I repeat this a couple times and I can see him calming down "okay tell me what happened in there"
Kai: "they heard her flatline go off"

I look at him eyes wide and I ran back into the hospital not caring if I was bumping into anyone.

Tia: "KAIRI WHAT ROOM"
Kai: "267" he yells behind me

I seen ale and Lexie's mom by a door so I go to it and ale looks at me.

I then see 3 doctors holding back Lexie's mom and I can hear her screaming

L/m: "NO MY BABYYYY *wails* LEXIEE PLEASE BABY WAKE UP"
Tia: "is she okay please tell me she's okay"
Ale: "she s-s-shes gone mattia"
Tia: "no no NO SHE CANT BE"

I pushed passed him to look into the room and I see her body sitting there lifeless, I attempt to pushes pass the same doctors her mom was trying to get passed. I walk up to her pushing the nurses that was trying to push me away from her.
