Mattia's pov

She looks so happy when she talking to Kairi, it was a good thing seeing her laugh like that after a accident. It hurts me that she doesn't remember who I am and what we did together, but she remembers everything she did with Kairi I wonder why.

Ale: "why does the fucker keep pointing at us?"
Tia: "idk but whatever he's saying about us making her laugh which is good I think"
L/m: "no she's going to open up her stitches"

Her mom opens the door and we hear Kairi say

Kai: "okay okay we gotta stop fr before you rip your stitches"he said in a somewhat serious tone

She frowned and they started talking again and then they hugged and I see a small smile appear in her face, he started walking towards us so we back away from the door so he can get through and he walks out and closes the door behind him.

Kai: "uh she said she's tired so she's gunna go to bed"
L/m: "oh okay did she remember anything else when you were talking to her?"
Kai: "no but she was......"

I didn't really listen to what he was saying I turned to look at lexie and she gave me a small smile and she waved, and I did the same things back. I don't want her sleeping in her by herself there's a lot of stuff that happens in hospitals.

L/m: "mattia!?" Her mom whispered yelled
Tia: "oh uh yeah?"
L/m: "do you mind driving me back?"
Tia: "I was going to stay with lex because I didn't want her to be here alone"
Ale: "mattia I-"
Tia: "no I don't care I'm staying sorry ms. Lopez"

They all nod and walk away Kairi gives me a weak smile, I open her door and close it was kinda loud, then I close the blinds so the lights won't keep her up.

I look at her and she looks terrified

Tia: "what's wrong?"
Lex: "a-are you g-gunna hurt me?"
Tia: "no no of course not, I wouldn't ever even think about putting my hands on you or any woman" I said in a soft tone but she still looks scared "please don't be scared of me, you don't need to be I promise I won't hurt you and I won't let anything hurt you"

She nods her head slowly and looks me in my eyes and smile, I felt my stomach turn.

Lex: "uh y-you can come sit if you want to" she said with a soft smile

I smile back and sit by her legs

Lex: "why did you stay?"
Tia: "I didn't want you to be alone in here"
Lex: "oh uh well thanks for staying"
Tia: "of course"
Lex: "um what's your name?"

When she said that I felt my heart brake a little, why did she have to remember everything with Kairi and not me?

Tia: "Kairi didn't tell you?"
Lex: "he did but I don't know if it Matt, Michael, mataya or Matteo" she laughed nervously
Tia: "eh the last two are closer to my name then the first two, Michael is no where near my name" I chuckle and so does she
Lex: "oh shit sorry" she chuckles
Tia: "mattia"
Lex: "wow Matteo is really close to that just with an ia at the end"
Tia: "mhm"

It was silent not an awkward silence but a comfortable silence until she spoke up

Lex: "I'm sorry" she said low but loud enough for me to Hear while looking at me
Tia: "for what?" I said making eye contact with her
Lex: "not remembering anything at a-"
Tia: "it's not your fault, it's the person that was driving's fault"
Lex: "oh do you know what happened?" She asked genuinely wondering
Tia: "no Kairi was there tho so he knows"
