“What?”  Dean said slowly while he dressed himself.  “Please don’t tell me we just became eskimo brothers!?”  Dean cringed.

“Sorry to say, but I think we are.  It was either Stevie or her twin.  What I don’t understand is, how could she not know you are my brother?  I mean, Winchester?  It’s not a very common last name.”  Sam tried to make sense of this twist of fate.

Dean smirked his crooked smile, “I might not have told her my real name.”

“What did you tell her your name was?”  Sam said curiously as he sat on his bed, across from the mess that was Dean’s well used bed.

“Rod Conway.”  Dean lifted his hand to get a high five from Sam.  Sam gave Dean a stern look as if to tell him it’s not funny.  “What!?  Too soon?”

“Yeah, it is!” Sam said getting up off the bed to walk over to the kitchenette. “You just ravaged the first girl I could see myself with!”

“Hey, that’s not my fault..... she couldn’t get enough of me. PLUS, I didn’t know who she was.  All I knew about her is that her name was Arielle and she played in this dive motel bar.”  Dean pleaded his case to make sure Sam knew he didn’t do this on purpose.  Sam started pacing in the kitchenette as Dean watched his brother ponder what to do next.  As Dean cleaned up around his bed from numerous condom wrappers, Sam finally figured out what to do next.

“I got it!  We both go to the bar tonight to confront her and actually find out what is going on.”  Sam said, but then he disagreed with himself.  “But we have the whole problem of the shapeshifter.”

Dean looked disgusted and surprised, “What if she was the shapeshifter?  What if I had sex, multiple times may I add, with a shapeshifter”  He cringed in fear and disgust.

“No, don’t think so.”  Sam pondered. “Does the bar have security cameras?”  Sam said as he pointed to Dean.

Dean had to think.  Did the bar have security cameras?  Did he notice?  Did he have sex with a monster? He shook those thoughts from his mind and responded “I don’t know.”  He said, disappointed in himself.

“What do you mean you don’t know?  Didn’t you train me to scan our location?”  Sam responded.

“Well yes, and no.”  Dean explained.  “I saw all of those guys trying to get in her pants.  The bartender was cute....good food.  Nope, don’t remember.”

“Okay, we have to make a decision here.  Are we going to do our job and go after the shapeshifter, or are we going to follow our hearts?”  Sam said questionably to Dean.

“Our hearts?  Really Sam?”  Dean whined in disgust to his little brother. He knew Sam was all heart but, follow our hearts?  What was he getting at?  “Okay. Let’s get the shapeshifter tonight and if we get done in time, we can go after our other....problem.”

“You’re right.”  Sam agreed. “We came to do a job.  We gotta get it done.”

“So, what did you learn at the library?” Dean quickly changed the subject, trying to get Sam’s, and his, mind off the elephant in the room.

Sam calmed himself down enough and went to grab his laptop from the car.  When he came back in, Dean had his bed made, then met Sam at the kitchenette table.

“A lot of the issues stem from this area of the town.  I’ve pinpointed some areas with repeat disappearances.” Sam pointed to an area with a large warehouse. “Right there.  That’s where it’s hiding. It’s in plain sight.”

“Alright,” Dean said as he stood, “Let’s get some food, then get ourselves a shapeshifter.”

                            *************

Later that night, Dean and Sam prepared for battle with the shapeshifter, however, both Sam and Dean felt the awkwardness between them that would not be solved tonight.  Dean felt really bad about his rendezvous with Arielle/Stevie.  If he would have known that Arielle was Sam’s Stevie, he never would have followed through.  But that girl definitely left her mark on him.  She was the exact girl that was perfect for him, but he couldn’t let Sam know.  He couldn’t let Sam know that he was truly and deeply fascinated with her.

“Are you ready to go?”  Sam asked as he headed for the door, shaking Dean out of his thoughts.

“Huh?, Yeah, yeah I am.  Let’s go kick some Shapeshifter ass!”  Dean said as he followed Sam out of the motel room and into the black beauty that Dean called ‘Baby’.
Dean and Sam drove to the warehouse just off of Main Street.  The building was dilapidated with it’s broken roof and holes in the walls.  Broken down vehicles lined the outskirts of the warehouse, adding to the eerie beauty that it held.  As they pulled up to the front of the warehouse, the sheer enormity of the warehouse sunk in.

“This might take us a bit to check out.” Dean stated the obvious.  “Divide and conquer or scan each room together?”

“Let’s do this together.”  Sam said as he inspected the building in front of them.  “With a place this big, there could be a lot of them.  If we separate, they could overrun us.”

Dean agreed as they both climbed out of the car and headed to the trunk where the weapons hid, snug under the false bottom of the trunk. They both grabbed as many guns and ammo as they could hold and of course silver bullets; the only way to kill a skinwalker.

Once they were ready to head in Dean stopped Sam in his tracks, “Look Sammy, I just want you to know...”

“Don’t.”  Sam stopped Dean mid-sentence. “We’ll chat after this is done.”

Dean nodded then followed Sam into a dark hole where the door should have been.  Inside it was dark minus the moonlight beaming through the hole in the roof.  The warehouse was mostly wide open, minus a few doors at the back of the room with a large staircase above them.  Scanning through every inch of the opening, Dean and Sam made their way to the back offices, quickly peeking through the windowed doors to see what was inside.  Nothing in door one...door two is a dud....door three....something’s in there!

“Sammy!”  Dean whispered to get Sam’s attention and pointed to the room.  They both faced the door, guns drawn, and counted down for the kick in.  BAM!  They kicked the door and stomped in. Sam stepped in and slipped in the goo of what used to be the shedded skin of the shapeshifter.  Dean tried to catch Sam before he hit the floor but it was too late,  Sam landed face first in the goo.

“Oooh. Sorry Sammy! That’s gross! At least we know you’re right!”  Dean snickered as he bent over Sam while Sam slowly got up and wiped the grossness off of his face.

“That’s reassuring.”  Sam said sarcastically.
Once Sam regained his composure, Dean and Sam headed out of the office and to a set of stairs that climbed up the side wall and lead to a platform above the offices.  Slowly climbing up the stairs, Dean lead Sam up to one single red door in the middle of the massive wall.  Dean slowly opened the door and stepped in, Sam lagged behind to check out a slight noise he heard downstairs.  Just as Sam turned to follow Dean, the door slammed shut, separating the brothers.  Dean and Sam both ran to the door and banged on it to get the others attention.

“Sammy!  Sam!”  Dean shouted.

“Shhh!”  A small voice screamed out.  “They’ll hear you!”

Dean turned around to find that tiny voice hiding in the corner of the room.  A small girl peeked her little head out from behind a big pipe to look at Dean.  Dean watched as she slowly came out from hiding and he realized she had to be at least five or six years old.

“How did you get in here?”  Dean asked as he bent down to make himself look less scary to the poor little thing.

“I followed daddy in here.  But it wasn’t my daddy.”  The little girl said as she started to whimper.  “He melted and his skin fell off.”  Dean felt his heart break for this little brown haired girl.  Dean took a few small steps toward the little girl but she recoiled.

“It’s okay, I’m not the bad melty man.  I came here to stop the melty man.”  Dean said as he leaned forward toward the little girl.  The brown haired little girl stepped out of the dark and towards Dean.  Still hesitant, she reached Dean and Dean picked her up.  “We need to get out of here and get you back to your mommy!”

Meanwhile, outside of the room, Sam looked around the balcony for anything that could open the door to his brother.  He found a piece of rebar that stuck out of the wall and he grabbed for it.  Before he could grab it, something struck him upside the head and everything went black.

                              ************

After searching around the big room behind the red door, Dean finally uncovered a hatch under some boxes.  He opened the hatch slowly and stuck his head down to check it out. He realized that it lead to one of the offices on the main floor and realized he’d have to climb down.  Dean climbed down the ladder of the hatch and waited for the little girl to climb down after him.  Once she was down, Dean lead her out of the office and straight to the door of the warehouse.  Once he reached the hole that lead out of the warehouse, Dean told the little girl to get into the car and lock the doors. Dean watched her get in, then he turned to see Jarrod, the curly haired bass player of Arielle’s band, holding a knife to an unconscious Sam's throat.

“So, first you fuck the woman I was going to make mine.  Then, you figure out where I’m staying!”   Jarrod said as he slid the blade of the knife down Sam’s face, waking Sam from his unconscious state. “Very good little hunters. Very good.”

“Dean! Behind you!”  Sam yelled as Dean quickly turned to see the drummer and the guitarist come running up to him.  Dean pulled his gun but it got knocked out of his hand with one foul swoop by the drummer.  The guitarist knocked Dean down then grabbed his arms and pulled them behind him.

“Can I be him?  He’s got good bones!”  the drummer spat out as he watched Dean closely.

“You mean you actually picked these weird skins? Man, you’ve got no taste! Except this guy,” Dean said as he nodded his head towards the drummer. “Now he’s thinking!”

“SHUT UP! And no!  He’s mine.”  Jarrod enforced.  He must be the leader, looking at how the other two coward at the sound of his voice. “He got Arielle once.  He will get her again.”

“Good luck with that man! She wore me out last night!” Dean said. Jarrod, looking pissed off, hit Dean across his face then looked to the left and fixed on a new figure, emerging from the shadows.

“Arielle?”
