Dream lets out a harsh exhale, sliding his sock padded feet across the hardwood floor. Sapnap gasps and curses as Dream opens his door without knocking.
"Dude, privacy?" Sapnap groans. Dream glances at him and blinks slowly, then rolls his eyes and walks to his bed.

"Sapnap, this is a serious matter. Knocking isn't important at the moment" Dream states, flopping onto his back on Sapnap's unmade bed. Sapnap sighs and stands up from ie desk, then walks over to Dream.
"What's the matter?" he asks, slight worry filled in his voice. Dream sighs harshly, his breath shaking gently, "God, okay this is going to be a lot. Don't judge me or laugh, or make fun of me." Sapnap furrows his eyebrows, "I wouldn't do that. What's wrong?"

"George" Dream admits breathlessly. Sapnap's eyes widen, "George? There's something wrong?" Dream hums in response, clapping his hands onto his face. He exhales and it echos from his large hands cupped over his face. Sapnap sits down on the bed, "What exactly about George?"

Dream groans and takes another deep breath, then makes eye contact with Sapnap. He finally opens up to him about the last few months.
"I'm so used to having everything under control, but this time it's uncontrollable. It's taken over my life; I spend endless nights lying awake, hoping and praying that I'll be able to meet him. I can't even eat without wondering if he prefers bananas or apples. It's never been like this, why does it have to be like this now? Why do I have to love him now? The love; It's too strong, and I can't fight it. I've tried, believe me, but I can't stop loving him." Dream answers, placing a hand into his blonde hair to tug it in frustration.

Sapnap blinks, mind trying to process what exactly Dream just said.
"You love George?" Sapnap questions, searching for confirmation. Dream nods and sits up to be beside Sapnap, "Mhm, the flustering accusations, the simping; all of that is true. I even started a song about him" Dream chuckles to ease the frustration and sadness, which makes Sapnap smile faintly.

"Tell him" Sapnap suggests nonchalantly, shrugging. Dream's eyes widen and he gasps, "What? No!" Sapnap turns to meet his eyes, "Why not? George has- There's obviously- Okay, look, George wouldn't be rude about it like your nightmare. He would understand, and if he doesn't like you, he most likely would let you down easy and feel very sorry, but you two would get through it." Dream sighs and falls back onto the bed, "I don't know, Sap."

Sapnap shrugs again and stands up nervously, "I'd say go for it. There's nothing to lose."
"There's George to lose" Dream deadpans. Sapnap rolls his eyes, "You wouldn't lose George. Neither of you would let that happen at all, ever." Dream takes a deep breath and frowns up at Sapnap, "I'm scared, Sapnap." Sapnap replicates his frown, "I know, Dream. It'll be okay, I promise."

Dream's phone starts to go off in his pocket, so he quickly pulls it out to check it.
"It's George" he states, standing up from the bed and heading to the door.
"Go get 'em, tiger!" Sapnap exclaims, which makes him receive a loud shush from Dream as he answers the phone.

Dream walks back to his room and sits at his desk.
"Hey!" he greets, almost a little too excited and nervously. Dream can sense George's bright smile, "Hi! What are you up to?" Dream's eyes widen and he looks around quickly, searching for a something he could lie with. He sees his journal and comes up with a lie.
"Working on some song lyrics" he answers. It's partly a lie; he was working on some just a few days ago.

George chuckles softly, "Oh, can I see?" Dream's cheeks turn red as heat rushes to them. He doesn't think anything of it as he reaches and opens up to the page with the most recent lyrics to 'Mask.'
"Sure," Dream replies fondly. He quickly takes a picture and sends it to George, informs him, then waits as he reads and comments on them.

"These are good, Dream" he murmurs into the phone. Dream recognized his voice sounds off somewhat.
"Thank you, I'm really excited for it" he states. He hears George take a deep breath, but neither try to converse again.

"Dream" George calls to get his attention. Dream hums in response, worry etched into his features.
"W-What's the lyrics at the bottom for? Uh, what d-do they mean? What are they about?" George stutters out, voice laced with worry and fear.

"What are you talking about?" Dream questions, sliding out of the call screen to click on their messages. He clicks on the picture and zooms to read the bottom. His heart drops and he fills with intense fear. At the bottom of the page, few lyrics to a love song fill the black lines.

My 404
Won't you be my forever more?

Dream lets out a shaky breath, "You can just ignore that." Static pops through the speaker.
"No, Dream. What is it about? What does it mean" George questions, he sounds on edge like he could break at any minute. Dream knows there's no getting out of this, and he knows George has figured out the clear reference easily.

"Dream, are those lyrics about me?"
