okay so before we start this i just wanted to make a PSA: this will be heavily focused on main events from real life. It's still techincally an au bc dnf, but it's going to be real life streamers and have all the real events happening this year. there will be no k4cey drama though !!! :] enjoy

Dream steps out of his blue suburban home and takes a deep breath. He checks his phone for the time, reads a message from earlier again, then stares at the road. Not long after, he finally sees a familiar small black car turn on his road and slowly make its way to Dream's driveway.

Dream jogs down the steps, practically bouncing, and speed-walks to the car. The driver's side door opens and out pops a familiar brunette that Dream has grown up with.
"Dude, I can't believe you're actually here. You drove all of those hours just to come here!" Dream exclaims, walking over and clapping a hand onto the brunette's back. A laugh escapes the shorter man's lips, "Good thing I'm staying. God, am I tired."

Dream smiles softly and walks to the trunk of Sapnap's car, Sapnap following suit. They open the trunk and grab what they can; Sapnap grabs two suitcases while Dream grabs a big box. Sapnap walks to the front door and opens it for Dream.

Sapnap steps into the foyer and shakes his head as he looks up the curved white stairs, "One man living in this gigantic house." Dream rolls his eyes, a grin spreading across his face, "Two men, and a cat." Sapnap smiles brightly, "Yeah- where is she?" Dream grabs the brass door handle and waves his hand with the other, "She's a shy little thing. Let's get your stuff in, and then I'll find her."

They take three more trips from the car to the house until all of Sapnap's belongings are now in the house. Dream sighs as he stares at the few boxes, "Well, that job's done, but we still need to get it to your room." Sapnap groans, walking over to the couch in the living room. Dream rolls his eyes again as Sapnap flips onto his back on the grey furniture. He lays with one leg on the armrest and the other on the floor, and he cradles the back of his head with his arms.

"I'm so exhausted, do we have to?" Sapnap groans, taking a deep breath. Dream places himself on the other couch, "You really want to leave all your stuff in the middle of the house?" Dream questions, crossing his arms. Sapnap eyes him, then sits up slightly, "Would you let me?" Dream stares at Sapnap blankly, "No." Sapnap groans louder.

Dream goes to speak, but is interrupted by a sudden movement from something that lands into his lap.
"Hey, girl" Dream coos, scratching under the cat's chin. Sapnap sits up immediately, extending a hand out to show the cat. Patches steps over on Dream's lap and leans her head out to sniff Sapnap's hand. Sapnap sits with his mouth agape as Patches slowly nuzzles his hand, then moves to lay in Dream's lap.

"Does this mean she likes me?" Sapnap questions, voice rising an octave. Dream laughs, scrunching his face up slightly, "Hmm, maybe." Sapnap lets out an exasperated breath, then stands up.
"Let's just get these boxes out of the way before I'm tired of you too" Sapnap states, walking to the boxes and picking one up. Dream laughs wholeheartedly and places Patches down gently, then helps him carry the boxes up the stairs to his room.

"How about we unpack what is needed? I can do what's left tomorrow or when I'm rested" Sapnap suggests. Dream nods and unzips a suitcase, then he helps Sapnap put clothes into the closet. Dream works on setting up his desk, while Sapnap just sits on the bed. Dream finishes and places it where Sapnap wanted, then sighs, "You're setting up your PC, that was tiring." Sapnap laughs gently, causing Dream to look at him.

"Dream, she's letting me hold her- somewhat, at least" Sapnap chuckles, petting down Patches' fluffy back. Dream smiles and pulls out his phone to take a picture, "Oh, should we tell the viewers now?" Sapnap smirks, "Of course, they're going to be so excited we finally moved in together." Dream nods his head, placing a hand over his smile as he laughs, "They're also going to talk about George, and ask when he's moving in." Sapnap smiles softly, "Yeah, but that probably won't be for a while right? Travel ban ends in June." Dream sighs and runs a hand through his dirty blonde locks, "Yeah, I hope he'll be able to get a visa. Would he want to move in so soon?"

Sapnap takes out his phone from his back pocket and presses on his messages to save the photo of him and Patches Dream sent.
"We've known each other for years, I think he would" Sapnap shrugs nonchalantly, he presses the Twitter application. He begins to type in something, then turns it to show Dream.
"Shall we?" he questions. Dream nods, a smirk forming on his lips, "We shall."
