Baby, It's Cold Outside

At Dalton

Jesse was in the choir room studying and waiting for her dad. Blaine walks into the room to see her studying. Blaine puts the boom box down making Jesse jump and she looks up to see Blaine. "Hey." Blaine said to her with a smile. "You scared me." Jesse said to him. "Good, because..." Blaine said while walking over to Jesse. "I'm actually Marley's ghost..." Blaine said to her while closing her book. "And I'm here to tell you to stop studying so hard." Blaine said to her while sitting down. "What's with the boom box?" Jesse asks him. "I need you to sing with me. Well, rehearse with me. I got a gig singing "Baby, It's Cold Outside"...in the Kings Island Christmas Spectacular." Blaine said to her. "Ah, too bad they'd never let us sing it together." Jesse said to him with a smile. "You will always be the girl I want to sing with." Blaine said to her making Jesse smile at him. "Hmm. So, you gonna help me out here?" Blaine asks her. "Fine, I do it." Jesse said to him making Blaine kisses her cheek. "Okay." Blaine said as he walks over to the music player and press play and the song starts. Blaine looks at Jesse and he starts dancing a little. Blaine does a spin and he points at Jesse.

Jesse (Blaine)
I really can't stay
(But, baby, it's cold outside)
I've got to go away
(But, baby, it's cold outside)
This evening has been
(Been hoping that you'd drop in)
So very nice 

Blaine
I'll hold your hands

Blaine sings while touching Jesse's hands and moves away from them.

Blaine
They're just like ice

Jesse (Blaine)
My mother will start to worry (Beautiful, what's your hurry?)

Jesse sings while standing up and walking away from him.

Jesse (Blaine)
My father will be pacing the floor (Listen to the fireplace roar)
So really, I'd better scurry
(Beautiful, please don't hurry)

Jesse walks over to Blaine again.

Jesse (Blaine)
But maybe just a half a drink more (Put some records on while I pour)
The neighbors might faint
(Baby, it's bad out there)

Jesse sings and she sits down on the soft with Blaine following her.

Jesse (Blaine)
Say, what's in this drink?
(No cabs to be had out there)
I wish I knew how
(Your eyes are like starlight now)

Blaine sings while touching Jesse's face, Jesse stands up and walks away from him.

Jesse (Blaine)
To break the spell
(I'll take your hat, your hair looks well)

Jesse leans on the back of the sofa and Blaine walks over to her.

Jesse (Blaine)
I ought to say no, no, no, sir
(Mind if I move in closer?)

Blaine sings while moving closer to Jesse.

Jesse (Blaine)
At least I'm gonna say that I tried (What's the sense in hurting my pride?)
I really can't stay
(Baby, don't hold out)

Jesse sings while walking away from Blaine who follows her.

Blaine (Jesse)
Baby (Oh, but)

Blaine and Jesse
It's cold outside

The two sing and Blaine playing the piano to the song with Jesse watching him.

Jesse (Blaine)
I've gotta get home
(But, baby, you'd freeze out there)

Jesse sings making Blaine walk over to her.

Jesse (Blaine)
Say, lend me your coat
(It's up to your knees out there)
You've really been grand
(I thrill when you touch my hand)
But don't you see
(How can you do this thing to me?)

Jesse sings while walking over to the sofa and she leans on the back of it.

Jesse (Blaine)
There's bound to be talk tomorrow (Think about a lifelong sorrow)

Blaine sings while walking to the sofa and faces Jesse.

Jesse (Blaine)
At least there will be plenty implied
(If you caught pneumonia and died)

Blaine sings while leaning closer to Jesse but she moves away from him.

Jesse (Blaine)
I really can't stay
(Get over that hold out)

Blaine nods Jesse to sit down and Jesse nods for him to sit down.

Blaine (Jesse)
Ooh, baby (Oh, but)

They sing while sitting down next to each other.

Jesse and Blaine
It's cold outside

The song ends with the two smiling. Blaine puts his arm around Jesse and pulls her closer to him. Blaine leans in for a kiss and they share a slow kiss as Will walks into the room. "Jess." Will said making the two pull away. "I...I..." Blaine said while standing up. "I have to go, but I see you after the show." Blaine said to Jesse and he kisses Jesse's cheek and runs out of the room. Jesse stands up as her dad walks over to him. "He needs to stop doing that." Will said to her. "Yeah, but he keeps thinking you will kill him for kissing me in front of you." Jesse said to him. "Yeah, true." Will said and he pulls her in for a hug. "Let's go, everyone is waiting for you." Will said to her and the two walk out of the room.
