Wanda stepped back quickly leaving enough room for Aurora to stand.
"Wanda outside right now," Aurora grabbed her and pulled her out the door and down the hallway. The rest of the Avengers sat there in silence trying to unfold what just happened.

"Aurora i'm sorry I was thinking I just, I-I," a tear fell down Wanda's cheek. An awkward silence loomed over the two.

"Aurora say something, I understand if you never want to talk to me again," Wanda couldn't help it now- the tears flowed down her face. She looked at Auroras face but it was blank, no emotion was showing.

"Shit Aurora say som-,''
Aurora kissed Wanda, cupping her face in Aurora's hands.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while but I wasn't sure if you felt the same way," Aurora pulled her into a hug.

"Aurora i've had feelings for you since we first met," Wanda wiped away her tears.

"I'm going to bed I've got a long day ahead tomorrow," Wanda laughed lightly "Catching bad guys and all,".

She gave Aurora a small kiss on her forehead and walked away.

"Night Maximoff,"

"Night Stark,".

11 Wakandans were among those killed during a confrontation between the avengers and a group of mercenaries in Lagos, Nigeria. The traditionally reclusive Wakandans were on an outreach mission in Lagos when the attack occurred.

Aurora turned off the TV. "Oh my god...," she gasped "TONY, TONY WHERE ARE YOU," she yelled "HAVE YOU HEARD WHATS HAPPENED,".

There was a pause before Tony's voice responded "I did and there is nothing we can do until they get back, I'll make a few calls to make sure your witchy girlfriend and everyone else is okay. So just stay here and sit tight for now,".

"She isn't my girlfriend yet," she muttered under her breath "We've just kissed and slept together a couple times,".

The Quinjet was in silence, no one had the energy to talk about what happened.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y take control of the wheel," Steve got up from his seat and walked towards the group "It wasn't your fault Wanda I should have clocked that bomb vest long before you had to deal with it,".

"I shouldn't have lost control it was my fault I wasn't focused,". Wanda played with her hands on her lap.

"Kid not every mission goes as planned things happen from time to time and we just have to deal with it,". Nat put a reassuring arm round the girls shoulder. "No one is at fault- not Steve, not you, not me or Sam, okay?".

Wanda nodded, she just wanted to get back to the compound and give Aurora a hug.

"We will be back in a few hours so I recommend going for a nap before we land, we will have a lot to do when we get back,".

Sam got up and walked away to one of the back rooms leaving the two girls alone in the main compartment,".

"What exactly are you and Aurora?"

Wanda looked up at Nat giving her a small smile "I think we are sort of a thing,".

"Like a couple?"

"Yeah,".

"Finally, I could tell there was something between you too but you were both too shy to admit it,".

"Yeah," Wanda laughed "I guess we were,".

Aurora sat up straight. She could hear the familiar sound of the Quinjets engine coming closer and closer.

"Vision is that them?"

"I believe it is Miss Stark,".  The android walked into her room. "Would you like to be notified when Mr Stark returns?".

"Yes please," she shouted as she ran down the hall towards the landing pad.

As Wanda stepped off the jet she was pulled into a tight hug. Aurora wrapped her arms around her waist pulling her in close.

"Wanda are you ok?" she whispered into her ear.

"I-I killed those people, those innocent people," Wanda fell to the floor sobbing.

"Look it's okay you didn't mean it Wanda, here let's get you to your room,". Aurora helped Wanda stand up and led her to her room.

Aurora sat next to Wanda on her bed.

"Wanda nobody blames you,".

A slow nod came from the girl but she couldn't help feeling a massive load of guilt.

Suddenly the android appeared by the wall.

"Vis, we talked about this," Wanda said.

"Yes but the door was open so I assumed that," Vision gestures at the door and stops.

"Aurora wished to know when Mr Stark was arriving,".

"Thanks vision, you can go now," Aurora said.

"I'll use the door. Oh and apparently he has brought a guest,". Vision stopped at the door frame.

"Do we know who it is?".

"The Secretary of State,".
