"Why didn't you come back for me?"

The question lingered in the air before anyone dared to speak.

Aurora sighed and turned to Wanda "Because I was ashamed I nearly killed him, I could have and I was about to but I didn't I couldn't show my face here,"

"Why didn't you kill him?"

"I didn't kill him because I thought of you, I thought what would Wanda think- not what would anyone else think, what would Wanda think if I killed my own brother," . Aurora looked and her dead in the eyes "So I couldn't come back Wanda, and I think you know that,".

Aurora didn't let Wanda answer before she walked off. Wanda stood there crying quietly, she didn't know what to say- she knew deep down that Aurora would have killed him and she could have quite easily.

Aurora slumped down onto her bed and huffed she had all this built up anger from the last few years and she didn't know what to do with it. There was a soft knock at the door "Go away Wanda,".

Wanda walked into her room and Aurora rolled over on her bed facing away from her. Wanda walked over to the bed and sat down looking at the wall. "Do you want to talk about it?"she asked the girl.

"Talk about what?" Aurora mumbled quietly.

"About what happened over the last two years,".

"Are you and Vision a thing?" Aurora blurted out.

"Rory.."

"Are you?" she turned around to face Wanda with a bitter expression.

"No," Wanda looked down at the girl with soft eyes "Why were you wanting to know?"

"Just curious," Aurora sat up and smiled slightly "I'm going to tell you what happened to me over the past two years,".

Aurora explained to Wanda about what had happened with the drugs and alcohol, the arms dealers and Wakanda. Throughout all of it Wanda sat listening intently and comforting the girl.

When she got to the end of the story Wanda asked "When did you cut your hair?". Aurora smiled and pulled her hand through her hair "I did it just before I washed up in Wakanda- I just looked at myself in the mirror and cut it,".

Wanda looked at her hair "Did you dye it too?".
Aurora laughed "No it went dark with all the stress for some reason,". Wanda looked at her with a funny expression "I don't think that's how it works Rory,".

"I don't know, I just noticed it getting darker over the weeks,". Wanda reached out and touched Auroras hair "I like it shoulder length I think it suits you,".

Aurora yawned "I'm really tired I think i'm going to go to bed Wanda," Aurora pulled the duvet over her body and rolled onto her side. Wanda got up and walked towards the door before stopping and turning around "Rory?".

"Hmm," a sleepy reply came from the girl.

"How long are you going to stay here for?".

Aurora sighed and sat up motioning for Wanda to come over and sit next to her "I can't stay for long- Tony will be back next week and I can't be here when he is Wanda, I could end up killing him after all,". Even though Wanda already knew the answer it felt like her heart had been pricked with a needle. "Where will you go?". She climbed into the bed next to Aurora.

"Probably Wakanda," Aurora moved over in the bed to give Wanda more room "I will stay in touch with you though I promise,".

"You better I can't lose you a second time,".

Wanda, Vision and Aurora walked onto the jet carrying their suitcases. Bucky was already sat by the control panel warming up the engines.

"Are you all ready to go?" Pepper asked giving Aurora a hug. "Yeah I've got everything I need,".
Aurora took a seat in the jet "Pepper you can't tell Tony I was here,".

"I won't if you promise to message me everyday," Pepper walked off the jet and going to stand next to Rhodey.

"Ready?" Wanda looked at Aurora.

"Ready,". The jet took off into the skies towards Scotland. The sun was just rising over the lake next to the compound sending shimmers of golden light across the ripples of water.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay with us in Scotland?" Vision looked at Bucky and Aurora "There is plenty of room in the flat,".

"We are good thanks Vision but it is better if we go back to Wakanda," Bucky got up from his seat and walked over to the others.

"Yeah I don't think that's the best idea," Aurora put her hand on Wanda's thigh. "Why I thought you and Wanda were fixing your relationship?" Vision asked with a jealous tone.

"Because Vision I'm not ready to go back to full civilization yet and I have unfinished business in Wakanda," Aurora looked at the Android and frowned slightly picking up on his tone. Yes it was true her and Wanda were starting their relationship again but Aurora didn't want to rush things as she was still working on herself as a person.

Wanda placed a light kiss on Auroras cheek- the week they had been together at the compound had made her the happiest she had been in years. Being with Aurora again made her feel complete and whole. "Plus we will still talk every day,". 

The jet landed in Edinburgh and Wanda and Vision got out and said goodbye to the others.

"Rory phone me when your home," Wanda waved goodbye as the jets hatch closed up.

"I will, don't worry,".
