*4 years later *

Nat followed Aurora around the small hut. Aurora had moved into Bucky's old hut in Wakanda since nobody was using it as of now.

"I'm sorry Nat but no," Aurora snapped "Don't give me false hope."

Nat sighed "I'm not giving you false hope Rory, It is going to work,"

Aurora turned around to face Nat "Well then if it does contact me,since you will know where to find me." She replied with a hint of sarcasm.

Nat rolled her eyes at the girl "You know the old Aurora would have helped, she would have done whatever she could."

"It's a shame she's no longer here then, isn't it?" Aurora sneered, she was fed up with being pestered by Nat.

"Shame on you Aurora," Nat said sharply "We have a chance to get them back and your just like- no it's cool I would rather be a bitch and sulk in my glorified shed."

"My answer is no Nat, get over it and leave me the fuck alone," Aurora growled back, she slumped down angrily on a chair. Nat huffed and walked out of the hut.

Aurora angrily threw a cloth at the wall "Bitch!" she yelled. She could hear the jet take off in the distance and she knew it was to late to apologize for how she spoke, as Nat was doing her best.

A small tear found it's way down her cheek, she really hoped deep down that Nat was right and they could get them back because she didn't know what she would do if they couldn't.

Shuri walked into the hut and sat down next to the girl "You know you really shouldn't have spoken to her like that,"

"I know," Aurora looked at Shuri "I guess it's just making me emotional,".

Shuri nodded "You should probably fix it and apologize,"

Aurora agreed with her "Yep," she said popping her 'p'.

"So what are you going to do about it then?".

Steve sat outside the Avengers compound deep in thought. They hadn't managed to get the time travel to work and he was starting to realize it may not be possible. He had started to think about maybe just retiring and admitting defeat when he heard a loud purr of an engine getting closer.

Steve looked up to see a sleek, black sports car pull up in front of him. To his surprise Tony Stark rolled the window down and looked over at the man.

"Why the long face? Let me guess he turned into a baby." Tony asked.

"Among other things yeah, What are you doing here?" Steve answered.

Tony got out of the car and wandered over to the boot and ignored Steve's question as he fumbled around inside the boot.

"That's the EPR Paradox. Instead of pushing Lang through time you might have pushed time through Lang. It's pretty dangerous someone should have warned you," Tony said smugly.

"You did," Steve said.

"Oh that's right. Thank god I'm here then, regardless I fixed it," Tony held up his hand holding a fancy looking device "A fully functioning Time-Space GPS," He paused before talking again "I just want peace- turns out resentment is corrosive, and I hate it."

"Me too." Steve agreed.

Tony looked at Steve with a serious face "We got a shot at getting these stones, but I gotta tell you my priorities: Bring back what we lost? I hope, yes. Keep what I got? I have to, at all costs. And... maybe not die trying will be nice."

"Sounds like a deal then," Steve put his arm out gesturing for Tony to shake it and Tony replied in the same way before reaching into his trunk and pulling out Steve's old shield.

"Tony.." Steve said hesitantly unsure if he should take it or not.

"Why he made it for you, plus I have to take it out of the garage before Morgan takes it sledding."

Steve took the shield and put his arm through the loop at the back, holding it proudly.

"Keep that a little quiet I didn't bring something for the whole team... We are getting the whole team, yeah?" Tony said.

Steve paused "We are working on that right now,".

Tony immediately understood what he meant "Aurora isn't coming is she?"

Steve shook his head "I'm sorry Tony, we tried our
best."

"Well you can't force her can you?".

"Time travel suit? Not too bad," Rhodey said.

Bruce, Scott, Steve and Rhodey were standing in a small room. Scott was wearing a red and white suit which was similar to his Ant-man one.

Scott held up the red glass bottles "These are Pym particles alright? And ever since Hank Pym got snapped out of existence this is it. This is all we have and we can't get anymore."

"Scott calm down," Rhodey said jokingly.

"Sorry. We've got enough for one round trip each. That's it no do-overs. Plus two test runs," As he said it Scott accidentally pressed a button on his suit causing him to shrink and then grow back to normal size. "One test run, whoops,".

They all made there way out to the testing chamber where Scott climbed up onto the glass platform. Everyone else stood at a control panel.

"Alright. I'm not ready for this," Scott blurted out nervously.

"I'm game I'll do it," A familiar voice appeared out of no where. Everyone turned around to see Clint standing there in the same suit as Scott.

Nat smiled to herself, happy he had made the decision to help them.

He stepped up onto the platform taking Scott's place.

"Clint your going to feel a little discombobulated from the chronoshift but don't worry about it," Bruce informed him.

Clint nodded "I'm going to pretend to know what that meant."

"Wai-Wait a second, let me ask you something. If we can do this, you know, go back in time, why don't we just find baby Thanos, you know, and..." Rhodey said while he made a hand gesture suggesting they just strangle the baby with a rope.

"First of all that's horrible," Bruce said with a disgusted look across his face.

"It's Thanos," Rhodey retaliates.

"And secondly that's not how it works changing the past doesn't change the future," Bruce carried on saying.
