Aurora put her empty milkshake down and sighed before speaking "FRIDAY? Another milkshake please,".

"Of course, Vanilla again?" The AI responded.

"Yes please,"Aurora looked over at Pepper who was sat next to the bed "Do you want anything?".

Pepper looked at the girl "No and before I go and get your milkshake from the kitchen you owe me an explanation to where you have been over the past 2 years,". Aurora looked up at Pepper and her happy expression faded "I guess I do owe you an explanation,". 

"So start talking," Pepper said.

Aurora coughed and cleared her throat before continuing looking at Pepper with a serious expression and  she started talking "After my fight with Tony I left everything behind and my world turned upside down. I started drinking heavily again and that's when the drugs started, for two weeks I was completely out of it- in fact I don't remember anything from those two weeks. Then everything went to shit I became really depressed because I felt I had let everyone down including Wanda and I used drugs to help make myself feel better," Aurora looked away tears pooling in her eyes.

"This went on for about a year and I got caught up with the wrong people which got me in serious trouble, I stole valuable weapons from these dodgy arms dealers and when they found out it was me they came looking. I remember being grabbed and being held in this room where they attacked me and beat me to help them compensate for the weapons- that's what they said anyway. A few days later I wash up in Wakanda after they dump me- satisfied with what they had done,". Tears washed down her face and they wouldn't stop. Pepper pulled her in for a hug comforting the young girl.

"For the next 12 months I was living in Wakanda with Bucky, T'Challa and Shuri, it was the best time of my life I really loved being there they helped me become a better version of myself and battle my addictions, they also helped me heal physically," Aurora smiled slightly "And now I have this cool scar down my eye,".

Pepper smiled at the girl wanting her to continue "So how did you end up here covered in blood and a massive gash in your stomach?".

"Oh yeah ha....... Wakanda was attacked by arms dealers looking for Vibranium, so I was helping fight them off when one of them stabbed me. I fell to the floor and I was losing so much blood I really thought I was going to die so for some reason I thought of this place, imagining it in my head and everyone that lives here when all of a sudden POOF and I'm here. I think I managed to somehow teleport to the compound,".

"Aurora I'm really sorry, you really didn't deserve any of what happened to you," A tear fell from Peppers eye "I'm so glad you are here now- that you are home,".

Aurora smiled wiping away her tears from her tear stained face "Speaking of home, where is everyone?".

A silence fell around the small medical room before Rhodey spoke up from the door "Tony is in Queens with Peter Parker and the rest of them don't live here anymore apart from Vision who is away most of the time," He sighed and walked towards the girls bed.

Pepper interrupted him "What he is trying to say Aurora is the Avengers are no more, we have all gone our separate ways after what happened with the Accords,".

The happiness faded from Auroras face "Oh.. what about Wanda?".

"She is away with Vision they became good friends"

Pepper stood up next to Rhodey. "Shall we get you to your old room Aurora?".

"Yes please," She said before pushing the duvet back to the bottom of the bed.

"How's the headache?" The jet soared through the sky slicing the fluffy clouds. Vision looked over at Wanda who had her head in her hands.

"It's easing off slightly but I can't wait to get back to see Helen," She sighed looking up out the window. The jet hit a bit of turbulence, suddenly rocking slightly, Wanda inhaled sharply and grabbed onto Visions arm. "I always hate this bit," she laughed nervously.

"It's okay just a bit of turbulence that's all," Vision reassured her. He loved it when they shared moments like this, he really cared about her and loved her a lot in more ways than a friend should. Vision knew Wanda didn't feel the same way and was determined to change her mind.

Wanda noticed she was gripping onto Visions arm tightly and she suddenly let go and blushed "Sorry, I don't always realize how strong my grip is,".

Vision smiled and looked over at her "It is fine Wanda I don't mind,".

The two sat in an awkward silence for a good 5 minutes both just watching the world go by.

"How long until we are back at the compound Vis?" The sun was just starting to set on the horizon.

"Not long now- maybe another couple of hours,".

"Good I'm starving," Wanda laughed lightly. "I miss Peppers cooking,".
