chapter 4| the boy

i slowly looked around the pillar.

Jake and jay stood by the lockers. They had their bags on the floor, arms crossed and stood tall.

They were whispering like no one could hear them. I heard them loud and clear.

And they were Bad mouthing me! What have i done!? Ive only been here two days and I've already got myself in trouble. Great.

And i was expecting a nice, new, fresh start, but nO. Of course not.

I didnt realise that the whole time i was day dreaming, my backpack was slipping off of my shoulder, I had only wore one strap. That was until, it slid off completely and hit the floor.

Hearing the sound, both their heads turned like owls, looking in my direction. I quickly hid behind the pillar again, hopeing they didnt see me. Which obviously wouldnt happen.

It would be a miracle.

out the corner of my eye, I saw a silhouette stand next to me. I wasnt brave enough to look face to face with the figure though.

Then, i suddenly felt a hand on my arm, and i was pushed against the corrider wall facing who i knew as jake.

He stared at me for quite a while....silence filled the corridor.
Jay approached beside us. I looked from him to Jake, not knowing what to do.

I then saw jake raise his fist. I knew what was about to happen. But i couldnt stop it. I froze.

And just like that, i took one to the face.

I slowly brung my hand to touch the spot that hurt, and hissed when it stung. I tried laughing it off but that just didn't work. Not today.

we then heard someone else approaching.

me and jake both swung our heads round. It wasnt jay, nor was it their mate ni-ki, but it was the boy that had been on my mind 24/7 since i first heard of him.

Changbin.

his eyes scanned the scene.

He took a breath and suddenly ran over. Heading for jake, he pushed him off of me and then punched jay to the ground.

i was NOT expecting thAT.

I looked at changbin like he was crazy. The shy guy, just pushed over the biggest ass in the whole year!!!

He stared at his hands, opening and closing them. He was most likely shocked at his own actions.

I looked at jake who was still on the floor, laying in confusion. If i was in his position I would be too.

Changbin grabbed my hand and had started taking me somewhere. I couldn't make out where, but i went with him anyway. Thoughts were over loading my brain. This was all too quick. What the actual fuck was happening..

I looked behind me and noticed he had picked up my bag off the floor, and was now carrying it.
I was slightly flustered. He had just saved me. Saved me!

And he was kinda cute.

But we aren't going to talk about that.

Something still didnt sit right with me though. by the way hes acting now, he seems caring. but according to other people,  Well, he was changbin...and he was mysteriously quiet.

There has to be a background story, and a reason to why people think what they do.

But most importantly, why was he like this.
