"WAKE UP!!!" yelled the familiar voice next to me. i can recognise that voice anywhere.
its one of them people you love, but hate. They can be caring one minute, yet extremely annoying the next.
my brother (felix) stood next to me with a ,now empty, cup in his hand. I will kill this boy one day.
i quickly sat up and glared at him. "wake up" he repeated, smiling, before running out the room, chuckling to his-self.
i took my phone from the bedside table and checked the time. 7:22am. realising i was 20 minutes late ,waking up, i jumped out of bed and stumbled to my wardrobe. i only had 10 minutes to get ready.
completely ignoring the dress-code, i grabbed the first thing i saw: a fitted black crop top, a pair of black ripped jeans and a flannel.
i washed my face, brushed my teeth, and was about to do my hair. Thats when i realised how soaked i was. the top half of my hair was drenched with water, while the bottom was just damp. i had 5 minutes if i wanted to get to the college on time. so in a hurry, i found the perfect solution: Half up, half down.
checking my quick pull together look in the mirror, i nodded in satisfaction.i grabbed my phone and backpack from the edge of my bed, quickly checking the time. 7:30am.
Oh poop.
i legged it down the stairs, tripping over the last few steps and into the kitchen, where my mum was making waffles.
i reached over the other side of the counter and grabbed the first thing i felt in the fruit bowl, an orange.
"well that's gonna be a bugger to peel" i whispered to myself, taking it anyway. i shoved it in my pocket and took my black converse.
after like- 7 fails of doing my shoe laces, i finally managed to get them tight.
Tight enough to be greeted with the floor as soon as I stood up. great.
i had tied my laces together.
I sat up and done it all again., but this time with a double knot.
i checked this was definitely a successful try and stood up. my mum was standing in the door way watching me. she saw all of that didn't she?
"i made wa-"
"No time to talk mum!! Gotta shoot!!!" i shouted running up to her and kissing her cheek.
"Ok byeee!" i yelled as I slammed the door close.
mums pov
"well i was gonna say i made waffles for your first day...guess not, it's just you and me waffles!" i spoke to myself, turning to go back into the kitchen.
i heard the front door swing open. "I forgot my bag!" y/n said as she peaked her head out from behind the door.
"Here!" i threw it to her.
"OKAY Bye! Love you!" and with that she left...again.
dork.
