The Giver movie premiere
(Elizabeth's perspective)
Taylor and I are on our way to the Giver Premier. I read the book a few months ago when I found out Taylor is working on this movie. I loved the book and I can't wait to see the movie tonight.
Even though our house is close by in New York it took us two hours in the car to get to the event. It seems like New York is more crowded the usual when we where getting closer and closer to the theater.
The car arrives and stops. Taylor gets out of the car first and the crowd across the street cheers and screams when they see Taylor walking out of the car.
"Taylor! Taylor!" They shout and cheer.
Taylor walks across the street and begins to take pictures with everyone. Taylor and I talk to the fans and take pictures for a bit until we had to walk the red carpet and go inside before the movie starts.
(Taylor's perspective)
I step out of the car and fans cheer loudly as they see me.
"Taylor! Taylor!" The fans shout.
I walk the red carpet and dozens of paparazzi are taking the cast and I'd picture.
As I'm walking the carpet I hear my name,
"Taylor can I have a quick interview?" An interviewer asks.
"Sure. Hello." I said walking up to him.
"Congratulations on being apart of this movie. I know you get movie scripts all the time. What was it about the world of the giver that made you say yes?"
"It was the entire package. With the co stars I got to work with. The idea I get to work with Jeff bridges and for my first acting experiences is kind of mine blowing."
"Are you more nervous on stage or on set?"
"I'm more nervous when I'm at any type of award show like this where there are dozens of people."
"Like this. There is about two thousand people here." The interviewer said
"Yeah. It's fine. Casual." I said.
"This is such a special book for everyone. Is there any themes that really stood out to you? What is it that the world of the giver that you love so much?" The interviewer asked.
"What stood out to me about the book is the idea is that our world is changing and we are going to have to cope with that as a society. What stood out to me about the film is that I actually got a different message I got more of a life lesson like how to live your life and how to appreciate that we have intense sadness in our life. We have these intense negative things that happen to us. But it's balanced out by intense joy and happiness. I think the way you think about your life will come away with this movie." I said.
"We have fans that have been tweeting in and asking questions. Everybody wants to know. What's going on with all of these little hints on Instagram? You have been dropping little clues?" The interviewer asked.
"Well I've been posting little clues on Instagram and Twitter and it's basically just hinting the Yahoo live stream on August eighteenth. That was the big reveal," I said.
"Is it going to be any new music or anything?" The interviewer asked
"You have to tune in and see for it for yourself" I said.
"Thank you for coming have a great night," the interviewer said.
"Thanks for having me." I said.
Elizabeth and I walked into the theater to watch the film.
