Good Morning America
1989 release day
(Taylor's perspective)
Today is the day that 1989 is finally out!! I am so excited!! I get up out of bed and go downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and see Elizabeth eating breakfast.
"Good morning." I said.
"Good morning." Elizabeth said.
"Are you excited for today?!" Elizabeth asked excitedly.
"Yes! Are you?" I ask as I get a box of cereal.
"YES!" Elizabeth said.
"When are we leaving?" Elizabeth asks.
"About an hour or so." I said. "Okay." Elizabeth said.
*an hour later*
A car horn honks outside of the house. "Dave is here!" I yell.
"Okay!" I hear Elizabeth yell from upstairs. Elizabith runs down stairs.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Ready." Elizabeth said and we walked out the door.
We are driving down the street an we are a block away from the Today show. We pull up to the curb Elizabeth and I get out of the car and the fans start screaming when they see us. We wave at them and they scream and start waving back.
We walk into the building and see our interviewer Robin Robbers.
"Hi Taylor great to see you again." Robin said.
"Hi Robin." I said.
"Hello Elizabeth." Robin said. "Hello." I said.
"How about you stand by the camera crew and watch the interview?" Robin asks.
"Okay." Elizabeth said.
"I have been looking forward to this all morning. She already has number one song on ITunes and now you can add number one album to that. 1989 dropped a few hours ago just before midnight. That was such a nice thing you did for your fans. It's already topping the charts Taylor wonderful to have you back with us." Robin says.
"It's great to be back. I'm so happy to talk to you again." I said.
"I can remember talk to you over there you were about fourteen or fifteen years old." Robin.
"You guys have been amazing. You talked to me as a kid before I had a record deal. I like to see this friendship keep going." I said.
"We appreciate it very much and it's just the type of person you are. Reviews have been incredible. They can not say critics fans enough good things about this album." Robin said.
"Reading reviews saying it's her best work hearing that is the most insane thing because that's how I feel about this album. To have people to finally have that to have the fans understand what I have been working on for two years is the most amazing feeling." I said.
"People always said the pressure of making the next one better. You expect yourself you have high expectations of course you want the next one different. You challenge yourself always but you stay true to who you are." Robin said.
"I think you have to stay true to who you are and at the same time challenge who you are to explore all the different aspects of what you can create. I think it's always important to remind your fans why they started listening to you in the first place. But on a new album give them something truly new. I could have made the same thing twice over again but I decided to go in a completely different direction I am so happy that I did because the fans are truly doing to get a new album." I said.
