I walked around the carnival.
I've been bored these past few weeks.
Work's been really busy for months, haven't had a day off since May.
Good thing Christmas is right around the corner, if not I'd still be at my job.

"What to do? What to do?" I looked around.
I bumped into someone.
"Oh sorry!" I extended my hand to help him up.
"No worries, ma'am," he took my hand, "You look rather cute. Mind seeing my show? It's in.." he looked at his watch, "5 minutes. You're already here at the carnival after all."
"Alright then. I wasn't quite sure of what to do," I blushed a little.
He was a red fox. What caught my eye the most was his mask. I wanted to know how he looked like underneath it.

"What's your name?" I asked as he led me to a tent.
"Felix and yours, cutie?"
I blushed, "Y-Y/N!"
"It's a lovely name," he smiled.

We went inside the tent, and Felix went on stage while I sat in the front.
"Step right up, folks, for the greatest show of your lives!" a clown excitedly shouted.
The show was great, especially Felix's performance.

"So what did you think, Y/N?" Felix was catching up to you as you left the tent.
"It was incredible! Your performance was my favorite part," I told him.
"Thank you," he said.
"What's your phone number?" he asked.
"It's P/N," I gave him my phone number.
"I'd be more than happy to talk more, but the next show will start soon. I'll text you later on today," Felix started walking away and waved.
I waved back and went back home shortly afterwards.
