The impala rolled to a stop outside of a garage as Dean got out.

"Morning Bobby!" He called, passing by the man's office.

"You're late boy!" He heard Bobby yell back from somewhere in the shop.

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry. Cas and I were running late this morning. Long night."

"I didn't ask for details, boy." A round figured man with a baseball cap grumbled as he walked into the room, rubbing his greasy hands on a piece of cloth.

"Get you're mind out of the gutter, Bobby. We were just moving some furniture." He smirked as he dodged Bobby's attempt to hit him with his rag.  "I'm serious though. We were clearing up some space in the house."

"You and that boy," Bobby chuckled. "Already settled in and been going strong for four years. When are you finally going to make an honest man outta him son?"

Dean chocked on his coffee and whacked at his chest to stop coughing.

"Now don't go dying on me now, boy. You know I'm right." Bobby muttered patting Dean on the back as he got back to work.

Dean smiled as he stopped coughing and got to work, the small weight in his pocket feeling heavier than ever now.

Castiel walked through the double glass doors of the bank, his bag and coffee cup in hand.

"Morning Charlie." He greeted as he passed by the red head's desk.

Charlie swiveled around her chair to face her best friend.
"Heya Cas, how's one half of my favourite-est ship ever?"

"Is that even a word?"

"It is now."

He chuckled at her quirkiness. "I'm fine. Thank you for asking." Cas responded, as he plopped down in his chair taking a sip from his cup.

Charlie bowed dramatically and leaned in a little to whisper. "Are you supposed to be drinking that?"

Cas just waved her off, coughing slightly as he put down the cup. "Don't worry, it's just water."

Charlie nodded as she leaned back.

"Novak! Bradbury!" Someone shouted. The duo looked up at their names.

"Yes boss?" Charlie asked.

"Front desks today. Chop! Chop!" The short, stouty man commanded, clapping as he left.

"Good morning to you too, Metatron." Charlie grumbled while rolling her eyes.

"Oh and Novak" Metatron rang out as he poked his head back in. "An extra two hours after work since you decided to be late this morning."

Cas, however, went to protest. "But Sir-"

"No ifs, ands or buts, Novak! Two hours or you can start packing up your desk from now." He warned, practically waddling away.

"Dick" Cas grumbled as the man was out of ear shot.

"Tell me about it." Charlie scoffed.

                                                         •

It was around seven o' clock and it was pouring cats and dogs outside. There were only a few people left in the building, doing last minute work.

A loud clap of thunder erupted overhead and jolted a sleeping Castiel from his nap on the desk. He removed a piece of paper stucked to the side of his face and read it.

Sorry,
Had to leave to visit my mother at the hospital.
Go home and rest.

                                                                  ~Charlie :)

Cas wiped the sleep from his face and got up to pack his stuff away. Another clap of thunder echoed throughout the room as lightning followed not long after. The omega shouldered his bag and walked through the hallways to the exit, bidding the remaining persons there a good night.

The rain beat down heavier on the bank's roof as he approached the main area of the bank to log out.

Clank!

The omega turned around as he heard the noise. A cup rolled to a stop on the ground, in the middle of the room. He calmed his racing heart as he went to pick up the fallen item and place it back on the table. Another loud burst of thunder sounded as someone tapped him on the shoulder and he swiftly turned around.

"Dammit Dean!" Cas exclaimed as he turned around to see the dripping wet figure of his lover in front of him.

"Sorry." The alpha responded, smiling innocently.

Cas smiled, as he couldn't stay mad at that face forever.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, watching as the water droplets dripped onto the floor to create a mini pool.

Dean wiped some water from his face before answering. "It looks like a storm out and I didn't want you driving home alone. That plus Charlie called me and told me what Metadick said this morning."

"What, so you don't think I could've handled myself." Cas accused crossing his arms over his chest.

Dean's eyes widened at that. "What? No. I'm sure you're more than cable of protecting yourself. I just thought that..." He trailed off, gesturing about.

Cas grinned at the defeated look on his mate's face. "Dean, I was kidding." He pecked him on the lips, taking his hand in his. "Let's go home. I'm starving."

Dean perked up.

The couple left the building, running through the rain to reach the impala. They got in and drove out unto the road,  that lead to the security of their home.
