This is where he was now. Sat in an interrogation room, alone, at the local police station, tapping his fingers on the metal table, bored out of his mind. Commotion was heard outside the door and he saw someone in a neat suit hold up a badge to the officer guarding the door.

"My name's Agent Michael Novak and I'd like to talk to the suspect in questioning."

Not long after, the door squeaked open and close before the agent was standing in front of the brunet blond. The silence between them was interrupted by-

"What the hell were you thinking?!"

The hospital doors slid open as a group of people entered. The receptionist at her station was texting on her phone and popping the gum in her mouth, when a black haired man approached the desk.

"How may I help you?" She asked not even looking up.

"I'm here to visit someone. Named Castiel Novak."

She looked up at the man blankly. "Name."

"Dean Winchester."

"ID?"

The man patted his pockets before responding. "Umm...I think I left it at home. Can't you just let me up, I'll be quick." He said flashing a flirtatious smile at the blonde.

She smiled back before tapping away at her keyboard. "Third floor. Room 18." She said.

He patted the counter and walked off towards the elevator. "Thank you."

He pressed the elevator button and looked around, spotting a security camera pointed directly at him before the bing of the elevator signaled its arrival.

He got on and pressed the button for the third floor as the metallic doors closed.

Michael paced around the room, running his hands through his black hair.

"Do you have any idea how much trouble you could be in. Its bad enough that you already have so much to your name that authority is willing to look over but this..." Michael sat down in the chair facing him. "You nearly killed the guy, so you better have a darn good explanation as to why because that douchebag is yapping out a bunch of bullshit in the other room."

Dean looked up at the non wavering expression on the agent's face before looking away.

"You want to know what the hell I was doing? I was protecting my mate, your brother, because someone drugged him."

"What?" Michael shouted, his older brother instincts kicking in.

"I felt it through the bond, when he passed out."

"And you thought it was Richard Roman?" He leant forward but Dean shook his head.

"Doesn't mean he was innocent. He's lucky I never ripped his throat out for what he tried to do," he paused. "But I think its someone I used to know because the night of the fire, at the house, someone was standing outside the window and the scent, it was familiar. Same thing with the bank, ask Charlie someone delivered them something claiming it was from me and when I got there, the same scent. So same person."

Michael nodded with the evidence presented to him.

"And I know and you know as well as Cas or my family, that I did some messed up shit in my past. But I can't having it coming back now. Not now."

Michael looked at the teary eyed alpha and his face softened. He sighed, "Why?"

Dean threw a object on the table and Michael picked it up. "Wow," he muttered looking at the ring in the box.

"Yeah, I didn't want to tell anyone cause I know your parents would never approve." Dean hesitated, wiping one of his cuffed hands across the back of his neck. "That plus...you're gonna be an  uncle."

Michael looked up shocked. "What?" He whispered, "Cas. He's-?"

Dean nodded with a teary eyed smile.

Cole walked in the room to see the omega laying peacefully on the bed, sleeping. The door opening broke his concentration as a nurse tumbled in.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize this patient was taking any visitors. His system was flushed of the sedatives and lucky it was just enough to knock him out. So both- Sir are you okay?" She asked looking at the unmoving man who just nodded.

"Okay," she said suspiciously, "If you need me, just ask around for Tess." She said as she closed the door and walked off.

"I thought that it was close to impossible for that to happen between a wolf and a panther shifter."

"I know. That's what make this so much more special. And if someone is coming after me or my family then dammit Michael, I need to protect them."

A knock sounded on the door as the officer from earlier, Donna, poked her head into the room.

"Excuse me but we got a call from the nearby hospital. Apparently someone signed in under Winchester's name over here. A nurse named Tess was the one to report it based on suspicion."

Both Michael and Dean stood up. "And they just let him in?"

Dean tugged at the handcuffs. "It's them. Michael, please, you have to let me go." He pleaded.

Michael hesitated before uncuffing him. "Go"

Dean nodded, rubbing his wrists. "Thank you." And took off. You could hear the rumble of the impala as it left the station.

The agent turned back to Donna. "Gather a small team of your best. I think we're going to need it." He said speeding walking out of the station to his car. "And officer, while you're at it call my brothers and a man named Sam Winchester. Got it?"

Donna saluted. "I, I captain. We'll be right behind ya."
