Lightning flashed as the front door burst open. In came the drench couple, Dean carrying a passed out Castiel in his arms.
Geez, he wanted kidding about being tired. Dean thought as he maneuvered the two though the frame of the door.
He placed his mate on the couch, turned up the heater in the house and ran up the stairs to get changed in something a lot dryer.
He trudged back down the stairs and over to to the couch. He watched the sleeping beauty on the couch for a few minutes before sighing and awaking him.
"Hey Bee," Dean whispered, rubbing his thumb over the Omega's cheek. Castiel opened his eyes to get trapped in the greeness of his mate's.
Dean helped the brunet sit up on the couch before pulling him upstairs. "Come on, let's get you into some warm clothes."
The door to the bedroom squeaked as the couple entered their bedroom. Cas went to sit on the bed as Dean rummaged through the drawers. He turned around with clothes in his hands as Cas let out a huge kitten like sneeze.
"That was the most adorable sneeze I've ever heard." Dean awed.
Castiel just glared. "Shut up and give me my clothes, you assbutt."
Dean chuckled and helped him out of his wet clothes and into an oversized grey shirt with a big bee plastered on the front.
"I'm going to make some soup. Be right back." He muttered kissing the top of his mate's dark locks.
"And some popcorn!" Cas shouted at his retreating back.
"-and some popcorn."

Dean came back a few minutes later with a whole tray stacked with food and entered the room to see Cas cuddled up in to the bed wrapped up into a blanket burrito."What we watching?" He asked, placing the tray between them.
Cas without taking his eyes of the screen responded. "Season 5 of The Flash."
"Oh cool"
They sat watching the show. The only thing heard in the silence of the room was their chewing and the occasional burst of thunder.
‼Spoiler Warning‼
"Dean, why did they have to kill Nora?" Cas whimpered into his mate's shoulder as Dean rubbed his back comfortingly.
"I know, I know. She's in a better place now."
Castiel looked back at the screen like it personally offended him. "It's all because of that assbutt." He grumbled.
Dean furrowed his eyebrows still rubbing his hand up and down over the male's back. "Who Eobard Thawne?"
"Who else?"
"Okay..." The brunet blond said sliding off the bed. "I'm going to make you some hot choco so you can feel better before you start plotting the dude's murder." With that he walked down the stairs an into the kitchen.
As he waited for the microwave to go off after putting the mugs in, he leant against the counter.
Another flash of lightning shone throughout the room and when the alpha looked up he swore he saw a figure standing by the window. He leant up off the counter to go investigate but when the lightning flashed again, the figure disappeared. He got closer to the window and looked out but saw nothing but rain.
Huh
The beep of the microwave jolted him back to reality. He took the steaming mugs out and added a whole bunch of whipped cream and more than the necessary amounts of marshmallows. He balanced the two mugs in one hand while carrying the bag of marshmallows and another bag filled with chocolate in the other.
The familiar scent of a beta flowed through the cracks of the window causing the hairs on the back of the alpha's neck to rise.
Soft footsteps echoed in the hallway as Castiel entered the room.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked worriedly, looking at the tense figure of the alpha standing in the middle of the kitchen.
Dean diverted his green eyes from the window to his blue eyed bee.
"Yeah, I just thought I saw someone outside the window." He said glancing back outside.
Cas sighed and leaned up from the wall to wrap his around his mate from behind.
"You sure its not just you're alpha instincts about a certain issue that we're currently facing, getting your paranoia up?" He mumbled into the space between other's shoulder blades, rubbing the exposed skin from the area of Dean's ridden up shirt.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Dean said turning to face the other male.
"Aren't I always?" Cas replied smugly as he took the drink from the other's hand and went back upstairs.
Dean just watched him with amusement before finally shutting off the downstairs light and following the omega up the stairs, glancing back at the kitchen window one last time.
~
It was now later in the night and Dean was still wide awake, fueled by paranoia. The episode on the TV finished and he grabbed the remote to shut it off. He looked over to see Castiel already sleeping. He smiled at the adorable sight of his sleeping angel, turned off the bedside table lamp and laid down, turning on his side to face him.
He tucked away a loose strand of dark hair behind the omega's ear and planted a kiss in the centre of his forehead. "Goodnight angel." He whispered, resting his cheek atop the black mop of hair and closing his eyes.
Cas let a small smile grace his face as he snuggled closer to the warmth of his mate, the rain still beating down heavy in the background.

Cute?Do you find it ironic that anyone who ever tried to 'destroy' Destiel in a way, either got stabbed, fought, burnt or killed by either an in-show shipper or one half of Destiel themselves?
I just might make a oneshot on that. (Excluding people we actually like.)
Anyway...continuing...
