The Haunted and The Hunted - Destiel (A\B\O)

Chapter 10

Cas sat up coughing while his lungs tried grasping for air. A hand came to pat his back reassuringly and he looked up to see one of his older brothers, Michael at his bed side and two others officers, while one guarded the door outside.

Talking was heard outside the door before eight people entered the room. Charlie and seven other guys: Gabriel, Samandriel or Alfie for short, Balthazar, Ezekiel, Lucifer and our favourite moose, Sam Winchester.
Basically the whole squad.

"What are you all doing here?" Castiel rasped out.

"Oh Cassie, we thought we lost you." Gabriel said hugging his brother.

"I got a call explaining everything and I guess your brothers did too. I was already in town, luckily, and came over." Sam explained.

"If someone was trying to kill you, you best believe the whole squad is coming to defend your ass." Luci piped up.

They all nodded.

"While we are all here," Balthazar's British accent wrung out. "Would anyone mind explaining to me what the bloody hell happened to the window?"

Everyone looked to the broken window currently letting cold air flow into the room.

Michael eyes widened. "Shit. Where's Dean and the other guy?"

Luci walked over to the window, stepping over shards of broken glass, and looking down to the dark area below. "I'm guessing somewhere, down there."

Something collided with Cole's side, sending them both tumbling through the window and down three stories.

Which brings us to now...

Cole landed on a car rooftop, shattering the windshield with his boots' heels. He groaned in pain as he clutched his broken arm to his chest and rolled of the car, a few glass shards falling to the ground.

He heard fast footsteps behind him and turned around but saw no one. He then limped into the middle of the parking lot where there was sufficient light to see his surroundings.

His shaky breaths were seen against the cold air of the still night as something moved in the shadows but disappeared quickly.

The beta turned around but was hit into the side of another vehicle. His face contorted with pain as he held his arm closer to his chest and tried to shift into a sitting position.

An auburn wolf stood towering over him, it's lips pulled back into a snarl. Cole, however, just chuckled and spat blood onto the pavement.

"I should've known you were a monster like the rest of those shifters, Winchester, I should've known. A monster just like the rest of them. Your mother, your brother, your pathetic excuse of a mate and his family. I know it all."

The man on the ground was made to regret his words the millisecond the k9 lunged.

Everyone was conversing in the middle of the room, the plan on what to do next but the blue eyed omega was zoned out, too busy focusing on something else.

He lifted up his shirt slightly and placed his hand over his stomach. The connection, it was still there. His baby bee was still alive. He smiled.

"Hey Cassie, you alright?" Gabe asked sitting beside him.

Cas wiped the tear streaks away before looking up. "Yeah, I am. What were you saying?" He asked turning to the group.

Sam held up a photo of the man that attacked the omega on the bed. "So get this, the man who attacked you. His name is Cole Anderson. I did some serious digging and he apparently worked for the same organization my dad and Dean worked in. He's supposed to be in jail for the apparent murder of a family in Colorado. His family. And just a few days ago, somehow he got released, by bail, from prison by an anonymous person."

Michael looked at the folder handed to him before a scream erupted from outside. They all looked at each other before Luci, Gabriel and Ezekiel ran over to the window.

"Umm guys, I'm not sure about Gabe and Zeke but there's a wolf, like an actual wolf attacking someone down there."

"What?!" Michael asked as he and Sam ran over to the window.

"Holy shit," Sam muttered. "That's Dean."

"Wait, Dean's a shifter?" Luci asked.

"Dude we already knew this." Zeke spoke for the first time.

"Right..."

"He's going to kill him," Michael stated.

"My brother's never shifted in public before what the hell could've triggered this?" Sam exaggerated.

"More importantly, how the fudge sticks are we going to stop that?" Gabriel asked pointing his sucker in the direction of the giant wolf.

Michael turned to the hospital bed and the others followed his gaze. Castiel felt multiple eyes on him and he looked up.

"Well baby bro," Luci said patting his shoulder. "Looks like you're up."
