Christmas was rather uneventful for the doll but not for his friend.

Jack sat on the window sill, his plushy hands pressed up against the cold window pane, buttons eyes gazing down to see families having fun, smiling at each other whilst laughter came along. The doll sighed as he pushed up his plushy cheeks against the window pane in a bored manner, waiting patiently for his dear friend to come back... Friend.

Friend...

The doll's button eyes glanced towards the ginger's laptop, knowing the password himself, the doll made his way toward the desk by jumping on the bookshelf next to it, then jumping on the wooden desk, his plushy legs making its way to the laptop, opening it was rather a miracle but he was able to enter the password by stepping on the keyboard, mumbling the password.

"Foodie... Lover..."

He mumbled and was rather surprised and began to blush about the laptop's wallpaper, don't get me wrong- but Jack has never seen Hans' desktop wallpaper and all he's ever seen is his browsers and such but never the wallpaper. There in display is a picture of the two, the summer before he was even turned into a doll, Jack and Hans standing side by side, the ginger's arm draped around the blonde's waist, both smiling like nothing was going to happen...

The doll sighed and pushed a few buttons, after finding it, he then clicked on a link and saw it... his case...

"College Boy, Missing"

He read, and continued...

"Reports have been sent to the police by the victim's parents, they had reported that their son, Jack Spriggins, had been missing after leaving for College...

Friends of the victim had also reported that Jack had never arrived at the College they were all attending.

Weeks later a car was reported, stranded in the middle of the road, after investigating, it has been confirmed it was the victim's car.

There were no signs of murder or any miscellaneous acts, with no further evidence. The police had closed the case"

They closed the case?... How did his parents even react?... They cared right?

But what if they didn't?

They loved him right?

What if they truly believed their son- HE is dead?

The doll's eyebrows knitted in worry, the door slamming open made him snap out of his worried trance and whipped his direction over to the door, just to see Hans, who saw him on top of his now open laptop. The ginger's cheeks turned red as he saw the desktop- THE WALLPAPER!

He immediately picked up Jack and closed his laptop, thoughts were running through his head, What would he think of me? It's normal for best friends to have wallpapers of each other right? Is he going to hate me? Is he mad? The ginger glanced at the blonde plush who looked at him with a concerned look

"Hans? Are you okay mon ami? What was that for?"

Hans chuckled a nervous one and placed the doll down on top of the laptop, as he sat on the chair "Nothing really, just nervous that you might find something.... Alarming..." Hans bit his lip and fiddled with the hem of his shirt, the doll looking at him with confusion "Like what? A folder named under "Crush" only to see food in it?" the ginger's eyes widened with confusion, blinking a couple of times, looking rather dumb as the doll laughed.... Jack laughed..., Hans' eyes glanced to the doll on top of the laptop who smiled as he laughed, when was the last time he heard him laugh?...

"I was only joking! And besides, if you did have that folder, it'd be much funnier" Jack smiled, making the other smile as well "Anyways, what'd you get for christmas?" the blonde doll asked, the ginger's eyes snapping open and showed him a new DnD board game... "a board game.."
