chapter 6

Y/n was having a business meeting. It was with a leader of one of his puppet gangs.   The gang was known as the Jade dragons. 

Their leader Bo Cao meets Y/n with his three lieutenants as bodyguards. 

Bo: I assume you didn't call me in for a social visit?

Y/n: You're correct in that.  I've been crunching numbers.  You're profits have been down quite a bit these last two months. I let the first one go. But now I'm concerned.   And you've ran a tight operation for a while.  So I want to know why you've been having issues.

Bo: It is a internal matter. My men can handle it.

Y/n: Clearly they can't seem to.

Bo sighed. 

Bo: There has been huntsmen and huntresses banding together.  They stopped going solo against my organization.  My men can handle a huntsman or two knocking on the door. But there is about twenty of them attacking a racket at once.    My lieutenants have been hunting them down one by one. But it will take a while to clear them all out.

Y/n let out a long sigh.

Y/n: Bo-Bo-Bo. I don't know why you didn't mention this sooner. I didn't make this organization to make everyone a lone wolf. It was to promote unity.    Forward all the information you have to me.  I will find a way to deal with the issue then let you know. 

Bo: As you wish.

Bo and his men left.

Dex walked into the room.

Dex: Is everything okay love? 

Y/n: Yes. People are so stubborn.  I give them a support system to use and they don't use it. 

Dex: Would you like a massage?

Y/n: Just a shoulder one right now.

Dex moved behind Y/n and massaged his shoulders. 

Y/n: Where's Nikita?

Dex: She went for fast food.

Y/n: No surprise there. 

Dex: I told her to get us something too.  If my timing is correct she should be here...now.

At that point Nikita came through the door with a bag of fast food.

Nikita: I'm back.

Y/n: You were right Dex. Right on time.

Nikita: What did I miss?

Y/n: Nothing really.  Say, Nikita?

Nikita: Yes darling?

Y/n: Do you know of any groups of huntsmen?

Nikita: Only one. They wanted me to join them right before you came along. I told them no.

Y/n: I want you to see if they'll let you in.

Nikita: Eh?

Y/n: I want you to infiltrate them and get me info on them.  

Nikita: Easy enough I suppose.

Y/n: Good. Girls, care to indulge me in something?

Dex and Nikita: What?

Y/n: Both of you stand beside me.

The girls listened. 

Y/n pulled them both onto his lap. The two sat there and smiled.

Y/n: There we go. This is nice. 

At that point Cinder walked into the room.

Cinder: Am I...interrupting?

Y/n: No of course not.  Come in.

Cinder walked in and sat down.

Cinder: I heard of you're little huntsman group problem.

Y/n: And?

Cinder: I'd like to donate one of my people to give you a hand. Emerald. 

Y/n: How generous of you. Very well then. She will accompany Nikita. 

Cinder: I see you let you're pet out of her cage. 

Y/n looked at Nikita.

Y/n: She's proved her loyalty.   Or do you not trust my judgment?

Cinder: I didn't mean to imply that.

Y/n: No harm done. 

Cinder: With that settled. I'll leave you...to whatever it is you're doing exactly.

Cinder left the room.

Dex: I think she has ulterior motives master.

Y/n: I do too. But I'll play along for now.

Nikita: So now I have to babysit?

Y/n: Actually I think you'll find her quite useful. But play nice.

Nikita: Yes master. 

Later on  Nikita met with Emerald. They went to the meetup location of the huntsmen group. 

Emerald: This the place?

Nikita: Yes. Remember you're role?

Emerald: Yes. You're protégé. 

Nikita: Good girl. 

They went in. The group watched the two enter.

They were met with the leader.

Nikita: Damien. 

Damien: I see you changed you're mind. Who's this?

Nikita: My protégé. Fresh out of Shade academy.

Damien: Alright then.

Nikita: I hear you're after the Jade dragons.

Damien: Yeah. But their just the start. Come here.

Nikita and Emerald followed Damien to a board. The board had pictures of leaders of puppet gangs belonging to Y/n.

Damien: All of these guys work for one guy.

Damien pointed to a picture of Y/n.

Damien: Y/n L/n. The bastard doesn't leave any evidence that he's done anything.  No wonder why he has so many puppets. Everyone else does the work, and he rakes in the cash.

Nikita: You've been doing you're homework.

Damien: The only thing I can't find out is where he got all this power from. No sixteen year old could have this much power. Not possible.

Nikita: There is always surprises in the world Damien.

Damien: I suppose you're right.  Anyway, let's get to work shall we?

Damien walked away. Nikita and Emerald looked at each other and smirked.

Nikita: Yes. Let's get to work.
