chapter 2

Y/n was in the lead in dust collection.  This was good.  Cinder and Y/n always had a competition over being Salem's second in command.   It's led to confrontations. 

Cinder's frustration grows and grows more.   She knows she's losing and is running out of options.    

Y/n meets with Salem and Cinder.

Y/n: This must be important if you called both of us.

Salem: It is.  I need you both to find and deal with a huntress who calls herself  the blue axe.   But her real name is Dex  Backerin

Y/n: Anything specific way you want it done?

Salem: I'll tell you what Y/n. I have kept you on a leash for long enough. Do whatever you want with her.  

Y/n smirked.

Y/n: As you wish my mistress.

Cinder and Y/n walked out of the room.

Cinder: You already have a plan don't you?

Y/n: You know me so well.

Cinder: Care to fill me in?

Y/n: You'll see. 

Hours later Y/n's henchmen were staging a  fake mugging around where the blue axe patrols. Y/n and Cinder were waiting for her to take the bait. And eventually she did. 

She attacked Y/n's henchmen and made quick work of them.

Y/n clapped as he approached with Cinder.

Y/n: Well done. As expected from a huntress.

Dex: I'm not giving autographs.

Y/n: *sarcastic* That's okay, I didn't have ink anyway. I would have to use you're blood instead. 

Dez readied herself.  

Cinder made her blades appear and charged.

Y/n: Someone was eager to fight. 

Y/n watched Cinder as she dueled Dex. Cinder was defeated after a few minutes.  Dex went for a finishing blow.  Y/n pulled out his pistol and shot Dex in the chest.  She spasms and then  stops.

Dex: The hell?!

Y/n: I need you alive. So I switched to shock rounds just for you. 

Y/n shot again and again. Unloading a 13 round clip of shock rounds into her, after her aura was drained, she had no chance.

Dex hit the ground slightly twitching from the shocks.

Cinder got up and brushed herself off.

Cinder: You couldn't have done that earlier? 

Y/n: You were so eager, I didn't want to ruin it for you. 

Two of Y/n's appeared and lifted up Dex.

Y/n: Take her to site T. And make sure she doesn't die. That'll be very inconvenient. 

The henchmen carried her off. 

Cinder: What is site T?

Y/n: Call it my personal playground.  I'm going to conduct a little experiment. Salem stonewalled me from it because she doesn't think it'll work.   But I know the mind of humans.  

With that message, Y/n walked off. Cinder followed and they reported to Salem.

Salem: She is in you're possession Y/n?

Y/n: Yes mistress.  She is the perfect first test subject.   

Watts" *approaches* I never took you for a man of science Y/n.

Y/n: Well I suppose psychology is a science isn't it?

Watts: I suppose in all technicality yes.

Y/n:  It isn't quite the science you think it is doctor. But it will be a blast to see how it turns out. 

Salem: So you're really going to try it out then?

Y/n: Of course.

Salem: Well I did say you could do whatever. So I am okay with it.

Y/n: I shall leave then if you don't mind.

Y/n left the room.

Watts: You know what he is going to do?

Salem: Of course I do. He ran it by me before. I told him no because it has a chance not to work. And I needed him for more important matters at the time. But he seems to made his matters automated. So he has plenty of free time.  

Watts: Now I'm more curious.

Cinder: As am I.

Salem: Y/n doesn't deal in ethical as you know. So that should give you a hint on just how bad it can be. But I won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to wait and see. 

Cinder and Watts look at each other.

Y/n is driven to site T.  He enters the facility. It's a nice place he bought after a big heist.

The lieutenant Y/n left in charge comes up to him.

Lieutenant: Sir! You're quarters are ready.  We also cleaned the cells and other facilities and put the blue axe into one. 

Y/n: Has she regained mobility?

Lieutenant: Yes sir. But her bonds hold her in place.

Y/n: Good. Then we may begin with my experiment. If I'm right about the brain. This will be a new step forward for me.
