chapter 12

It's been a few weeks since Y/n adopted Alicina.  Odette has finished with her time in site T and joins Dex and Nikita by Y/n's side.  

Just in time for the plan to begin. All the dust that has been collected was sent to mount Glenn. 

Y/n oversaw the operation personally. He didn't expect to be there long so he only had two thugs as protection.  

He arrived at the site and saw Roman with a tied up Ruby.

Y/n: You've been busy.

Roman: Ah Y/n! How nice of you to join us here today.

Y/n: Considering I sunk money into this operation. I think I'm entitled to see it running smoothly.

Roman: Oh of course. We're just dealing with a little pest here. 

Y/n looked at Ruby who looked at him. 

Y/n: A sliver eyed warrior.  I didn't notice this before.  Sorry about what's about to happen. *pulls out pistol* But my boss wants you all dead.

Y/n pointed his pistol at Ruby. Roman moved the pistol to the side with his cane.

Roman: She's been a pain in my rear end as well. But what is so special about the silver eyes?

Y/n: If you weren't told that means you aren't important enough.

Roman: *sarcastic* Harsh. * normally* But seriously, why just the silver eyes? Isn't there something against killing "endangered species".

Y/n: Roman.

Roman: I know orders are orders and all. But come on, you could at least let me do it. After all she did ruin MY plans.

Y/n: *puts pistol away* Fine.  Hurry up so I can take her body to my boss.

Roman: *aims cane* With pleasure.

Before Roman could fire.  An explosion was heard. They looked to see Oobleck and the rest of team Rwby rushing towards the train.

Ruby managed to get free and rushed towards her friends.

Y/n: *looks at his men* You two. Get them!

The thugs nodded and ran off.

Y/n: I'm getting on the train Roman. 

Roman: Alright then. 

Y/n got on the train with Roman.   He pulled out his radio.

Y/n: Bo. Plan B, get the men ready for pickup.

Bo on radio: Yes boss. 

Y/n went further down the train.  

He found team Rwby jumping down into the train.  

They looked at him.

Y/n: Well this is awkward. *pulls out pistol* 

Yang: I got this one. You guys go on ahead.

The rest of Rwby ran off. 

Y/n: I must give you respect for the courage you have shown. But sadly that courage will not save you. 

Yang charged for Y/n. Y/n dodged her strike and shot her, missing by a few centimeters. 

Yang counterattacked with another lunge punch. Y/n dodged once more and kicked her away.

Y/n: Is punching all you can do?  If so, I have already won this fight.

Yang got angry at that statement and activated her semblance. But it was utterly useless against Y/n as he continued to dodge and  knock her  around. Yang was eventually defeated. 

Y/n: Guess I should make sure she don't get up.

Y/n aimed his pistol at Yang. Only for a portal to open and Raven to step through.

Y/n: Everyone wants to stop me from killing someone today. 

Y/n shot at Raven only for her to deflect his shots.

Y/n: Shit.  

Y/n backed up slowly. He got the message and ran off. 

It wasn't too long after when the train crashed into Vale.   Y/n crawled out of the rubble. 

He shook himself awake and walked towards the street.

Y/n: *pulls out radio* Bo. I'm on the surface.  I'm hurt and need help.

Bo: *on radio* We're on our way boss. 

Y/n sat down and held his rib cage. 

He saw Atlas drop their AK units down to fight.  

Y/n heard trucks roll up behind him. He saw the girls get out of the truck.

Dex: Master! 

The trio ran up to Y/n and helped him onto his feet.

Y/n: That crash was not fun. 

Team Rwby appeared in an attempt to stop Y/n and co.

Ruby: You aren't going anywhere.  

Y/n's puppet gangs leaders stepped out of trucks.

Y/n: Back off men. Not today.

Maximus: If you say so boss.

The girls got Y/n into a truck.  Odette got in right before him.    

Team Rwby could only watch Y/n get away. They had no chance against the gang leaders.   They were not just outnumbered but outmatched. 

The trucks drove off.  

Y/n: That could have went better.

Nikita: Are you okay?

Y/n: I'll be fine. But I think tomorrow will be mostly me in the bed.

Odette: I can handle things while you rest master.

Y/n: Thank you dear. 

When Y/n got back to HQ. He went straight to bed.

Y/n in head: The plan is in motion. Hopefully Cinder doesn't fuck up.  I'd be real pissed If she did.
