chapter 18

Blake approaches her destination, a ship heading to her home island. 

She gets ready to board it.  Suddenly she feels a sharp pain in her back. She looses her muscle control and falls backwards into the arms of her attacker.

The figure lifts her up and carries her away.

The attacker carries her to a nearby L/n syndicate fob.  

The attacker collected the reward for Blake's capture and went on his way.

Y/n was called and he flew to the fob.

When he got there, he saw Blake bound to a chair, she had been gagged.

Y/n approached and removed the gag from her mouth.

Blake: What do you want from me?! 

Y/n: I want your cooperation.  You and I have a common nuisance.

Blake: And what would that be?

Y/n: Adam Taurus.

Blake: I'm listening.

Y/n: He's after you, as you know. Originally, I promised him you, in return for his cooperation.  But he has broken our deal by killing two of my men.

Blake: I witnessed that.

Y/n: If you work for me. I can help that little island you call home. 

Blake: What would I have to do?

Y/n: Keep an eye on your team for me. 

Blake: No deal! I will never betray my team!

Y/n: Pity. But never say never.  

Y/n had Blake shipped to site T. He let Odette take charge of her "conversion".

Blake's mind didn't last long. 

Soon she was just as loyal as the others. And made the almost perfect spy.

Y/n let her do what she was originally planning to do before her capture. It was imperative that nobody knew that she was now working for Y/n.  

Y/n was sitting in his office. He heard a knock on the door.

Y/n: Come in.

The door opened and Emerald walked in.

Y/n: Emerald. What do I owe the pleasure?

Emerald: We need to talk.

Y/n: It's somewhere along the lines of, you want to go on a date right?

Emerald looked away.

Y/n: I'm busy today. I promised Alicina that I'd take her to the park today.  But I'll be free tomorrow.

Emerald: Alright. 

Y/n got up and walked over to Emerald. She looked into his eyes. He gave her a quick kiss.

Y/n: See ya tomorrow.

Y/n left his office.

Y/n took Alicina to the park.   There was nobody else there. Alicina played around, enjoying her time. 

Y/n stood and watched her play. Suddenly he felt something press against his back.

He reacted on impulse. He elbowed the figure in the head.  

He quickly turned to see his attacker on the ground, with a gun beside him.

Y/n looked forward to see more gunmen pulling out pistols and taking aim.

Y/n dashed to Alicina and grabbed her. He slid into cover. Bullets pounded the large boulder for decoration in the park.

Y/n pulled our his phone and called Bo. 

Bo on phone: Boss?

Y/n: Bo! I'm under attack at midtown park! 

Bo: On my way! Hold tight!

Y/n: Trust me, I am not going anywhere!

Bullets continued to hit the Boulder. Y/n held Alicina close, she grips onto his chest tightly.

The sounds of truck engines were heard.

Jade dragon thugs got out of trucks from the side that Y/n was behind.

Y/n saw the Jade dragons take cover and start firing. 

The Phoenix crime family arrived and did the same.  

More of the L/n syndicate arrived to defend their boss. 

Eventually all the attackers were dead. 

Y/n picked up Alicina and carried her to his men. 

Despite the victory in Vale. He still has enemies.   And he still has a lot to take care of.

His syndicate is essential to Salem's plan.  And Y/n doesn't like to fail.
