chapter 14 - all that matters

a few days went by and i was still staying at Billie's. the morning after our date we didn't actually shower together because i woke up way too late. besides that, we got even closer after that night at the beach. it felt like we had known each other for years. we didn't get intimate again but the connection between us was strong.

we had just finished eating lunch with her family. Claudia and Finneas came over to join us and we hanged out with them at the backyard.

"so how's work going Skylar?" Finneas asked from the opposite side of the table.

"it's okay. i don't have lots of work since i'm still new but the money is fine" i said, laughing at the last few words.

"you could design a logo for my YouTube channel or maybe edit my video covers" Claudia suggested with excitement in her voice.

"oh yeah i'd love to help you Claudia"

"you're getting good money from this project" she said and jokingly winked at me.

"stop, you're not paying me for this. don't even try to fight" i clarified seriously.

"Skylar you need that money though" she noted.

"you guys have helped me more than enough already. i'll be good, don't worry" i reassured them.

"baby, you know we only want what's best for you" Billie said, rubbing my shoulder.

Finneas and Claudia looked at us in awe and smiled.

"we're going home now, we'll see you soon girls" said Finneas and got up from the table. Claudia followed him and they waved goodbye to us.

Billie and i spent the rest of the afternoon at the backyard playing with Shark and Pepper, Billie's new puppy and the family dog.

we got back inside when it started getting dark and we cuddled in Billie's bed. her mom slightly knocked the door and Billie let her come in.

"your dad and i are going to Finneas's. he said he and Claudia need some help with the house. we may be back late. have fun girls"

"okay mom. bye! i love you" Billie said in a babg voice.

"i love you too sweetheart"

"bye Maggie"

a smirk appeared on Billie's face when her mom closed the door. she sat up and got on my lap, straddling it.

"well" she started and i looked at her nervous. "since we're home alone i think we could do something fun"

"oh like what?" i asked with a smirk on my face, pretending i couldn't read her mind at that moment.

"remember the night at the beach? after we were done swimming?" she asked seductively and i nodded my head. "i was thinking we could go something similar. sounds fun to you?" she said, running her hands up and down my body making me shiver.

"sounds really fun to me" i replied as the feeling between my legs was getting more and more intense.

Billie leaned in and placed a sweet kiss on my lips, which soon became heated and sloppy. she went down my neck and licked a bold stripe before sucking on my skin. i let out a moan. her hands went down at the bottom of my shirt and slightly tugged on it.

"can i?" she asked for consent, pulling away from my neck.

"yeah" i answered even more turned on. something about consent is so fucking hot.

she quickly removed my shirt and i sat up a little to help her. she tossed it somewhere on the floor and her hands went immediately on my back, unclipping my bra.
