20: Always Here

❖A/n: Sorry if this is a few days late. I had a lot of assignments and had to go to the temple during the weekend (So busy TvT). Also, this is the song Y/n's listening to if you want to hear❖

Y/n tried not to replay what had happened in the office the other day. You decided to listen to something upbeat to distract yourself. With the music up, you laid your head on the desk and watched your classmates. Even though you can't hear, you were sure they—mainly Mina and Kaminari—were freaking out about the finals. You didn't have to worry since you were at the top of the class, tied with Momo.

Your eyes wandered to Midoriya and your expression darkened. "...like a brother," All Might's words echoed in your head then your mother's. "...his name's Zen." You growled softly and curled into the mini cave your arms created. Clenching your fist you slammed it against the desk, unnoticed to you making a few cracks. Apparently, it was a lot louder than you thought and you felt someone tap your shoulder. You moved your head just enough to see who it was.

You watched Midoriya's mouth move, worry clear on his face. 

"...like a brother........his name's Zen." 

Y/n shot out of her seat and stormed out of the classroom. Your long h/c hair flowing with the sudden motion. You didn't turn down the music rather made it louder to drown out the shouts of confusion and Midoriya's hurt expression. Before you could walk out the door a certain hero stood there with his usual smile. It seemed to falter slightly upon seeing you.

You blinked in surprise to see All Might of all people here. You could tell he was saying something and his hand reaching towards you. Frowning you swatted it aside and rushed past him.

⟐Todoroki's POV⟐

I watched as Y/n moved past All Might, without so much as a glance at the hero, and left. Todoroki frowned slightly, something's wrong, he thought. I watched as Midoriya tried to go after her but All Might blocked his path. "A-All Might do you know what's wrong?" Midoriya mumbled, but it seemed to echo in the quiet room. Todoroki glanced at Bakugou, he's surprisingly quiet for once.

"I think it might be...my fault," All Might answered. My eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion.

"What happened All Might?" Bakugou growled when he didn't continue. All Might shuffled slightly worry clearly visible past his smile.

"Well after I told Young Y/n about the...specifics of my request. She seemed fine until I mention, that she kinda treats Young Midoriya...like a younger brother," All Might explained.

"YOU SAID WHAT!?" Momo shouted as she shot out of her seat. Distress evident on her pretty face. The rest of the class was clearly confused as to how this could be the cause of her sudden behavior and Ya-Momo's sudden burst. Did she...lose her brother too? Todoroki looked down, a mix of sadness and worry crossed his face before it returned to his usual expression.

"Why the hell is Headset moody over that nerd being a brother to her?" Bakugou asked.

"Shut the fuck up Bakugou!" Momo snarled as she whirled on the blonde. I could just barely make out tears ready to spill. "Like you'd understand what she's gone through!... What she's still going through," Momo suddenly collapsed. She went from shouting to full-out sobbing, Mina and Jiro quickly rushed to her. Todoroki and the rest of the class were speechless, especially Bakugou. She's never raised her voice, much less swear like that. My frown deepened as I got out of my seat and went towards the door.
