30: Dorms

❖A/n: Friendly reminder, I won't be able to update as frequently as I used to. I'm a junior now and well it's already second week. I feel like I'm about to die from all the homework. Welp enjoy this chapter~❖

That's seriously the second time Uraraka fainted because of the dorms, Y/n thought. She was perched on Todoroki's shoulder, still in her cat form. Class 1-A was currently getting a look around our new home. Before we had to go our separate ways to unpack everything and decorate our rooms.

You didn't pay much attention to Aizawa's speech about where everything is. I mean you'd probably figure it out so no worries.

"Y/n please turn back!" Mina whined as she stared at you with her best puppy eyes. You didn't bother transmitting and just turned your head away. "Y/N!"

Todoroki merely shrugged before making his way to the elevator and to his floor. Which you happen to be on too. As the door closed you started feeling skittish since it was just the two of you.

Neither said a word as we waited for the elevator to get to the fifth and final floor.

Todoroki was the one to break the silence.

"Can you shift back?" He looked at you from the corner of his eye. "It's just the two of us."

I don't know...you transmitted.

"Only for a few minutes." You could hear the pleading in his monotone voice. You jumped off and instead of paws landing on the ground, your two feet landed instead. You both locked eyes but you quickly looked away, "Only until the elevator stops," you muttered quietly.

You could feel his eyes on you and to say it made you nervous was putting it mildly. "Your not one to break eye contact first," he announced. You blinked in surprise and turned to him perplexed. He smirked at your confused face, which flushed red in embarrassment. He leaned forward causing you to step back, your back against the doors now. "Gotcha~"

Just that one word and your mind simply stopped working.

Before you could think of a reply the elevator dinged. And the doors opened causing you to stumble back. Before you could hit the ground Todoroki grabbed your arm and tugged you to him. You were mere inches from each other, you could feel his hot breath fanning across your flushed face.

He glanced down at your lips before locking eyes with you again. Y/n felt her breath hitch as he inched closer. Panicking you pulled away and bolted with a quick thank you.

Todoroki watched you until you rounded a corner, disappearing from sight. He clasped a hand around the back of his neck, a small grin gracing his lips. "At least she isn't thinking about the attack anymore," he said out loud. Before following after you.

You found your dorm and slammed the door shut with a bang. You leaned against the door unable to move to the unpacked boxes. Your breathing was coming out in short gasps even though the small run was nothing. And your heart—it was beating like crazy. As if millions of butterflies had babies and they were all flying around inside you.

You slid to the ground, a hand over your heart. You flushed as you remembered the way he'd glanced at your lips. Almost...almost as if he was planning on, "...kissing me," you whispered. Your face turned bright red as the words slipped from your mouth.

Saying it out loud made it so much more real and...possible. If you weren't so confused you probably would have squealed. But so many thoughts were running on loop. But one thought pushed against the others, making itself known.
